This store is very disappointing. The staff couldn't even manage to send out a pair of shoes in the same size when I placed an order.

Today we had the opportunity to visit the Intersport Flöss sports store in Backnang, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We expected significantly more dynamism, motivation, and customer focus from a sports store. Instead, my husband and I had the distinct impression of being more of a nuisance than a welcome guest. As residents of Backnang, we will not be setting foot in this store again. Intersport has unfortunately lost customers!

I bought Nike flip-flops 14 months ago. They broke after 6 months. The complaint was very complicated because I had to provide proof of purchase. As an exception, I didn't pay with cash, so I was able to prove the purchase with a bank statement. The same shoes weren't available, but they were exchanged for the same price. The store manager seemed displeased with the exchange. Now, another 8 months later, the flip-flops are already broken again. This store should be avoided.

The selection at this sporting goods store is okay, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. When buying sports shoes for a child, the staff were reluctant to offer any assistance – one said she wasn't responsible, another was in the stockroom, and the third curtly said a few words before quickly disappearing again. I might as well order shoes online; I don't need a sports shop for that. Finally, I asked about accessories and was told they weren't currently in stock. When I checked myself, they were indeed there. Thanks, that was my last purchase here.

I ordered shoes online – the delivery to the store was pleasingly quick, and the shoes are really great. Unfortunately, the in-store pickup wasn't quite so pleasant: at the checkout, we were greeted by a male employee with an unfriendly expression; his demeanor was anything but welcoming, which dampened the mood considerably. In contrast, the female team members were very friendly. Because of the unpleasant atmosphere, we quickly ended our visit to the store, even though we had actually wanted to look at more shoes.

I was in the store today and went straight to the shoe department. I spent about 25 minutes there trying on various shoes. It seemed to me that 2-3 employees noticed that a customer was there, but no one asked if they could help. My impression was that they were preoccupied with themselves; customers were just a nuisance. I left the store and can't recommend it.

One star is too much… extremely unfriendly service in the store when buying a helmet, and when we asked about other equipment for our son's snowboarding trip, they rolled their eyes… We called again today about snowboard boots, and the curt answer was “no, we don't have them” and they hung up without a word! We've bought a lot of things for ourselves and our three boys at Sport Boss over the past few decades, but we'll never go back to that store!

I ordered indoor soccer shoes online. Nice shoes and fast delivery. Unfortunately, I received two different sizes. This simply shouldn't happen with shoes, especially since I urgently needed them and now I have to find a DPD shop for the return!
