Since I own a NOX bicycle, I wanted to have it serviced at a NOX partner shop. I've already done this. The owner/mechanic is helpful and makes a pretty good professional impression, at least initially. The communication was okay. Here's a brief summary: I called ahead and made an appointment. Then I dropped my bicycle off at SwaziCowboyz and waited for a response. After a few days, I inquired about the status of my bike, but was initially told it would take longer because a bearing was damaged and the replacement parts hadn't arrived yet. He also replaced a few screws—a total of six that were rusty. I tried to contact them repeatedly. The problem is that they weren't always available by phone. Despite this, I kept trying to get in touch, but was repeatedly disappointed. After about two weeks, I was finally able to pick up my bicycle. I was happy to have it back. I was used to my bike being cleaned, the chain lubricated, the brakes checked, and the shocks serviced during a service. At SwaziCoxboyz, I was disappointed again. The chain was lubricated, but a little bit of lubricant was applied over the old residue. That was it. The bike was dirty, the shocks hadn't been serviced, and while a bearing on the front wheel was replaced, along with six screws, that was the extent of the service/repair. I asked for the bill. I was told I didn't need to worry about it, as my leasing company would cover it since I have a full-service contract. I accepted this. Furthermore, the wrong page in the service booklet was labeled, then everything was crossed out, and a new page was labeled. At that point, I knew that would be my last visit to SwaziCoxboyz, and I went home. I was very disappointed! At the same time, I was looking forward to riding my bike and was grateful that at least one bearing had been replaced. When I got home, I cleaned the bike, cleaned and lubricated the chain, and serviced the shocks. I wondered why I'd even bothered taking my bike in for a service. But I just wanted to leave it at that. Now, about a year later, I wanted to have the next service done at a different bike shop and discovered that SwaziCowboyz had charged me €478.60 for the service, bearing replacement, and screws. That was the last straw! That's an absolute outrage! I can only urge you to find a reputable bike shop where you're treated like a customer and not ripped off like I was! I'm going to contact my leasing company and seek legal advice. Because this is simply unfair!

Hello Salvatore,

We are very sorry that you are not satisfied with our service. It's a shame that we only found out about this a year later through Google reviews.

The following work was carried out on the e-bike (in addition to the standard inspection) at the customer's request: The front hub was defective and was repaired, the front and rear brake pads were replaced, Tannus puncture protection inserts were installed on the front and rear tires, and the chain was cleaned and lubricated.

The following parts were charged: Front and rear brake pads, front wheel bearings, 8 stainless steel screws (stainless steel at the customer's request), and 2 Tannus tire inserts.

Shock absorber maintenance is not part of the customer's service package and was not requested by the customer.

All work was carried out at the customer's request IN ADDITION to the standard inspection.

Cleaning the bicycle/e-bike is not included in the inspection!
