***Reply to the owner's comment: To summarize: The "quality product" breaks down exactly after the warranty expires (what a coincidence), customer support uses poor and misleading communication, and as a "goodwill gesture," I'm supposed to buy another helmet from you (with a small discount)? I suppose we'll leave it to other customers to decide how they rate your solutions. Your response consists once again of the same old platitudes.*** The company preaches sustainability, customer satisfaction, and "Made in Germany." Great phrases that can be found in the articles of association of every other limited liability company. The reality is quite different. The expensive helmet broke after 2.5 years. Neither the taciturn employee nor the capable managing director, Mr. Japing, offered any customer-friendly solutions. We'll now buy from reputable brands that didn't go bankrupt just three years ago. Mind you, this was in the post-COVID era, when bicycles were the ultimate hype.

At the same time, we would like to clarify the situation for other readers.<br><br>The helmet you mentioned was already outside the statutory warranty period at the time of your inquiry. Nevertheless, in keeping with our commitment to sustainability, we checked whether a repair was possible and provided you with a replacement part free of charge. The goal was to allow you to continue using the helmet and avoid unnecessary material waste.<br><br>Unfortunately, there seems to have been a misunderstanding on your part: you disposed of the helmet before the replacement part we sent could be installed. After you contacted our management directly, we also voluntarily offered you a 30% discount on a new helmet as a gesture of goodwill – again, without any legal obligation.<br><br>We naturally respect your decision not to accept this offer. However, the assertion that we did not offer a customer-friendly or accommodating solution does not reflect the actual events.<br><br><br>Unfortunately, we respect your decision not to accept this offer. As a family-run company with German production, we place great value on quality, sustainability, and fair, accommodating solutions – especially for safety-related products for children. My son and I drove half an hour to buy two new helmets "Made in Germany." We were greeted by a very friendly woman who immediately pointed out the special offers and, after a quick look at our heads, recommended suitable helmets. The service was very competent and pleasant; both my son and I are very happy with our choices. Matching accessories like helmet liners and chin guards were also offered discreetly and fitted to the helmets right away. The perfect fit of the helmets completed our positive shopping experience – we'll be back and definitely recommend the KED factory outlet! 👍🏻

Super friendly and competent staff. All our questions were answered thoroughly. Very large selection of different helmet models. Our new helmets were expertly fitted to our heads. We felt very comfortable and highly recommend them.

We were there to buy a helmet for our 4-year-old child. We received a friendly welcome and received expert advice. The salesperson tried on different helmet sizes and then completely adjusted the right one (strap, etc.). It was very good that she took her time with our son and was calm, which was very helpful when trying on the helmet. He's not usually very cooperative.

I had to buy a new bike helmet because the old one had material fatigue. I'm also now using an e-bike. I first rode past on my bike because the sat nav sent me too far. The shop is in the basement and isn't immediately noticeable. The saleswoman gave me good advice. 👍 In the end, we ended up with a last year's model. But only because of the color. The helmets are certainly more expensive than at the wholesale store or online. But they're Made in Germany. There's a local contact person and the best thing about the helmet is that it's rechargeable. I recommend the shop. The only drawback is its location in a industrial area.

I bought the Rayzon helmet at the factory outlet. The young employee gave me excellent advice. After my first ride, I'm thrilled with the helmet; you hardly notice it on your head, and most importantly, there are no pressure points!
