This was my first time having my bindings fitted at Uwe's shop, and I was very pleasantly surprised by his friendliness, service, and the quality of his work. I'll gladly come again... ;-))

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this ski service. The base repair was done poorly and does not meet the standards one would expect from a professional service. It is particularly disappointing that none of the three pairs of skis I brought in were properly and professionally repaired. Despite asking, I received no truly competent or appropriate recommendations for the necessary service – I expected significantly more expert advice. The wait to pay was unreasonably long. Furthermore, during the payment process, they repeatedly emphasized that cash payment was "preferred," even though card payment was possible. This comes across as unprofessional and not very customer-oriented. For the price charged, I expected much more. For comparison, in Austria, you can get a truly professional service with modern equipment and a corresponding level of quality for the same price. The attached photos clearly show the shoddy workmanship. This ski service has definitely not become one of my trusted local ski shops. Overall, neither the quality nor the service is satisfactory.

Hello Mr. Art, We would like to correct your review, as the described sequence of events does not reflect reality. You visited us on February 3, 2026, and brought three pairs of skis for servicing. As with every customer, we asked you in detail whether you wanted a minor service or a major service. We explained the difference between the two services to you professionally. Due to the age of the skis and for cost reasons, you specifically opted for the minor service. When you picked up your skis a week later, you paid and left the workshop. A few minutes later, you returned with one ski and asked why the base damage was still visible. I personally explained to you that no base repairs are carried out during a minor service and that wax does not fill base damage. Despite several professional explanations, a lengthy discussion ensued, during which you became increasingly rude. Another customer who was present finally pointed out that your behavior was inappropriate. I offered to fully service your skis for an additional fee. However, you declined this offer and announced that you would not be returning. That's a shame – we would have preferred to resolve this matter directly and easily with you. Efficient and swift! Flexible and price reasonable. Keep in mind to come latest in fall, better in spring after you finish your winter ride season! One can also buy some equipment there.

Small but perfectly formed… We had two pairs of skis serviced by Uwe and also got some advice on new skis for my wife. We followed his recommendation for the Elan Primetime 4. The offer was excellent, and the skis were prepared perfectly. My wife is extremely happy with the skis and Uwe's service! Thank you so much!

I was very satisfied with the ski service. The service was quick and the staff were very competent. I had two pairs of skis and bindings adjusted, and everything was done to my complete satisfaction. I can highly recommend this ski service.
