Unfortunately, they weren't helpful at all. I noticed while cycling that my tire was low on air, so I went to the bike shop in Herrenberg because it was on my way, and I politely asked if they could inflate it. The person there immediately said NO. 🤔 So I had to continue my journey.

Extremely unfriendly staff! When it was my turn, the man disappeared into the back, then reappeared at some point. When I asked for a spare part, he curtly replied that it was a "very cheap" model and that spare parts were practically impossible to get (after almost 10 minutes of flipping through the catalog; yes, such things still exist!). When I inquired about a repair, he just mumbled something unfriendly and left me standing there. Definitely not recommended!

I needed some major repairs on my bike (replacing the rear sprocket, new pedals, new brake pads, a defective rear wheel bearing, etc.). The workshop I usually go to had stopped accepting new customers due to lack of capacity, so I tried here. I called on Saturday, dropped it off an hour later, and received a call Tuesday morning saying everything was done. What more could you ask for? I'm very happy with the work, and it was also very reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, one of the staff members here reacted very rudely to a request for repairs. After I had just paid the bill for the service, two weeks later a spoke on my mountain bike, which I'd bought at a local initiative (auction), broke. Whether this requires repairs might be a matter of goodwill, as I'm not familiar with that. Sorry. However, the way they treat customers is a no-go. Very rude is a nice way to put it; you shouldn't talk to customers/people like that.

I'm surprised by the many negative reviews... I was there a few days ago with my, to put it simply, "not very roadworthy" bicycle and I have almost nothing but good things to say. I explained the problem, the owner gave his opinion and an estimate of the costs, I left my bike there, and the next day I got a call that it was ready for pickup. I promptly picked it up and, after the usual pleasantries, drove home very satisfied. I think most of the people complaining here are the same ones who say at the hairdresser, "I like my haircut," then bottle up their frustration, anonymously leave a bad Google review, and switch hairdressers.

I enter the shop, the bell rings. Nobody's there. I close the door, the bell rings again. Slowly, a man emerges from the previously hidden corner of the workshop and stares at me silently for several seconds. A greeting was as much too much to ask as a hint of motivation. After I briefly—and quite politely—explained the reason for my visit, he moved off without a word or addressing my request. Reaching the bicycle, he "inspected" it. Perhaps he was simply daydreaming, reminiscing about days long past when the cause of a stuck front brake might have immediately occurred to him—times of initiative, of friendly customer service, times when a customer didn't have to resign themselves to wasting their own time and the hopelessness of an apparently irreparable bicycle. With a stony expression, the man uttered a monotonous, still completely devoid of any joie de vivre or engagement, "I don't know what the problem is." Unsure of any potential intellectual progress that might have at least stifled my growing resignation regarding the solution, I replied, "The brake pads seem to be stuck too tightly to the disc." In an undiminished burst of loquacity, an annoyed "Thanks for that suggestion" shot back at me, just before his ability to speak seemed to fade away again. "I could make an appointment after Easter," was the last thing I heard of this encounter before the owner of this *sigh* workshop closed the door from the inside to get on with his day's work, whatever that might entail. Small postscript: At Holczer Radsport in Gülstein, my problem was diagnosed and fixed within 7-8 minutes, and I didn't have to pay €10. I would love to question the competence of the gentleman from the Herrenberg bike shop, but how could I? He didn't do anything. Unfriendly to the core and shameful.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place at all. You're greeted with a dismissive attitude. You explain that you have a problem with the front brake and the front wheel isn't running true. The response: "Aha, thanks for the info, well, there's nothing I can do about that." You're simply left standing there without them even looking at the problem. One star would actually be too generous. It's a good thing there are still competent shops around Herrenberg.

This is a local bike shop that also offers repairs and servicing. Three days ago, I inquired about a repair to a front wheel due to an imbalance. I was quoted a price of €20-30. I asked if an appointment was necessary – apparently, this wasn't required for small jobs. I took this as a positive. This morning, after a phone call and further confirmation, I brought the bike in at 9:15 a.m. The job was accepted, but the price was quoted at €40. I commissioned the shop at this price, and they accepted the job. Initial comments were made regarding the bike's purchase from another retailer and the repair at a different local shop. At noon, I called and was told that the owner was unhappy the bike had been accepted since it wasn't purchased there and that I should pick it up again. This is discriminatory, as not every bike they accept was purchased from this particular shop. Extremely rude. They tried to make me feel guilty. I will never take my bikes to this dealer again. So please don't send any orders to a local dealer like this out of goodwill – they don't need the business, and their customer service is unacceptable. A complete mistake!

The owner was extremely unfriendly and rude, displaying a complete lack of competence in his "advice." Our questions were ignored, and we felt mocked. It's incredibly disappointing to have such an experience when you wanted to support a small business with good intentions. Next time, I'll order from Amazon, where at least you don't feel humiliated. I write this with a clear conscience and hope that no one else has to go through this experience.

Very friendly service. In my opinion, the owner is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things. What I personally appreciate is that they don't leave you in the dark about the potential costs. Therefore, 5 stars.
