Our experience with Silverback has been genuinely special. My son Robin is a young MTB and BMX racer from Estonia, and he rides a Silverback Sesta Pro that is already an older model — yet it is still fast, light, and incredibly capable. It has handled a full race season, technical trails, and intense training with confidence and reliability. What impressed us most is not only the quality of the bike, but the people behind the brand. We are very grateful to the Silverback team — especially Temarah and Elena Retief — for their openness, support, and for sharing Robin’s story in such a genuine way. Their communication and attitude made us feel truly valued as part of the Silverback community. We would also like to thank Hobisport Eesti, the local Silverback distributor in Estonia, for their help with parts and ongoing support that allowed the bike to stay race-ready throughout the season. Silverback’s Pedal With Purpose philosophy truly shows — this bike has helped a young rider grow, believe in himself, and chase his goals. A Silverback bike is not just equipment — it’s a long-term companion that inspires progress. Highly recommended.

The **Silverback Superspeed GX** is a top-tier racing mountain bike designed for demanding cross-country and marathon courses. Its **Monoburst frame technology** connects the seat stays directly to the top tube, improving shock absorption and increasing traction. The frame construction combines stiffness and efficiency with vertical compliance in key areas such as the chainstays, top tube, seat tube, and down tube, ensuring comfort on long rides. Short chainstays provide agility and responsiveness, which is particularly beneficial on technical trails. The use of **high-quality carbon materials** and a precise manufacturing process ensures a lightweight frame without compromising strength. An **integrated chain guard** also protects the chainstays on the most challenging terrain. The **SRAM GX Eagle 1x12** drivetrain delivers precise and reliable shifting, making it ideal for racing. The **RockShox SID fork** with 100 mm travel offers sensitive suspension and excellent control in varied terrain. Thanks to these features, the **Silverback Superspeed GX** is an outstanding choice for riders seeking a **fast, lightweight, and comfortable hardtail** capable of handling even the toughest race conditions.

not happy with the paint on the bike, as the clear coat is delamintaing from the color coat. the video shows a clear coat bubble. also not happy with customer support as they offer me to have to pay to repaint the bike(it is a few months old) without any sign on how this will improve the paint. if the same paintjob is aplied why would it stick? after givin all the evidence that it is a faulty paintjob, they only blame me, without any good arguments, and did stop communicating after I send the video. they started sending an email again, with the same story of it being my fault only after I posted this 1 star review. They offered me a discount on the repair(which I dont think I should pay for at all) If I would remove the review. The answer below is incomplete as I did respond to all their requests only to get the same answer again and again. They claim I don't know the truth, even though I am the one owning the bike, and do have owned other bikes that did not have this issue with the same use: riding

Dear Martin,

Many thanks for your 1 star review.

You have received the bike in September 2024, confirming that you are happy with the bike.

Unfortunately you are not showing all images with impact on google which you showed to us.

Your bike shows many external impacts either scratches or fall or places from overtightening) and can not be claimed from manufacture.

We hope for your kind understanding.

Silverback does have the warranty on the paint. BUT:

Excluded from the guarantee and warranty on the paint issues rising from are all forms of damage, external impact caused by fall, hit and any due to improper use or use not in accordance with manufacturer stipulations (e.g., use of a standard frame as a dirt bike, fitting of dual crown forks, lengthening of the suspension travel, over-stressing caused by jumps, etc.) and all defects due to normal wear and tear.

We have offered you a special offer for the repair as part of “replacement warranty” but have not heard back from you.

Silverback bikes are more than just machines; they are companions on every journey, built with precision, strength, and a spirit of adventure. From the moment I took my first ride, I knew it wasn’t just about reaching a destination—it was about the experience of getting there. Every pedal stroke feels effortless, and the durability of Silverback makes it reliable on any terrain. What I love most about Silverback bikes is how they seamlessly blend technology with comfort. The frame geometry is perfectly designed to ensure maximum efficiency without compromising on comfort, even on long rides. Whether I’m cruising through city streets or pushing myself on trails, my Silverback bike responds with agility and control. Owning a Silverback feels like having a trusted companion. #Borntobefast

Greetings from Finland. I got a Silverback S-Electro Elite AL 2 at the beginning of summer and have ridden about 600km along the trails. I have been more than satisfied with the bike!!! It is high quality and durable. Trail trips in the forest have become even more fun.

I'm a complete noob when it comes to bikes (only just learning terminology now). The only bit I know is how to ride one, and even that is something I had last done about 12-13 years ago. So I had no idea what I was looking for when I decided to buy a bike a couple of months ago. Then, I happened to rent a Scoop Delight fatty from my local bike shop and loved it! So much so that I ended up buying one. Luckily, I live within a 15-minute driving distance of the nearest beginner trails and pump track, and within a 5-minute driving distance of the nearest beach. With my fatty, I'm able to enjoy riding on all these varied surfaces! I'm so "Delight"ed with my purchase. :D

I bought a 2nd hand Silverback mtb on 2017. After few months of using the bike it was that moment I told myself that my next bike purchase will be another SIlverback. After 3 years (2020) I finally bought a new Stride SX and I am very happy with it. My old bike is still with me and my wife is using it nowadays or whenever i go out with my friends, i let them use it. The bike is so light if you will compare it to the other brands within the same category. I love and looking forward every weekend to use it in the trail (Banayad/Duhail Trail). I tested few bikes in the bike lane and in the trail but i feel like the geometry of the bike suits me well. To enjoy it more, each month I upgrade the components 1 by 1. I am also looking forward to buy a Stratos in the near future (just saving money for it).

Great bike! This is my second Silverback bike (I have handed my first down to my son). Does exactly what it’s meant to. Costs less than many comparable brands and is really well specced. Love my 2020 Silverback Stride Expert and recommend them to anyone that will listen.

Recently bought the Silverback Superspeed SBC. I’ve ridden a few hardtails over the years, but this bike is by far the most comfy I’ve ever ridden! With its monoburst technology, it has some small bump compliance, so staying seated in bumpy terrain is a breeze. Landing small jumps is smooth and traction on climbs is stable. A very capable hardtail!
