You originally told me the ebike repair would take 3 days, but the time has now doubled. I dropped off the bikes on Monday, and today is Saturday, and you are still informing me that they are not ready. I will come and pick up my bikes. I will not make any payment. Please do not carry out any further work on them. I will also consider taking legal action regarding this delay. For your information.

We were supposed to buy an e-bike, and after the consultation, we ended up buying two. The salespeople took their time to offer us suitable e-bikes. Overall, the advice was excellent. The bike shop was a good choice.

My bike was taken to Ruit bike shop for servicing. I received excellent advice and helpful information when I dropped it off. They also gave me some great tips after the service. The service itself was carried out correctly. No complaints whatsoever. Everything went very smoothly.

This will be a long review because I want to describe the entire experience! After years of buying my bikes online or looking for the best price, this time the motto "Support your Local" was the order of the day. So I looked for a bike shop near me, read reviews, and contacted them. I knew which bike I wanted, but wanted to see and test it in person. I didn't get a response to my first emails – I don't always have time to call because of work. Hmmm, I thought. That doesn't exactly make a great impression. But then the boss called personally and made an appointment to take a look. The bike was still in the warehouse and not yet assembled, so I went to the warehouse with the employee and got the bike out of the box. I made a new appointment for a test ride. The boss then promised me some goodies as a small apology for the initial communication difficulties, which I thought was great. I bought the bike and made an appointment to pick it up. The pickup went smoothly. The bike was explained to me in detail, then everything was adjusted for me with the help of an employee, and off I went. After a few weeks, the usual initial inspection took place. I parked the bike, and after the inspection (thanks to my vacation, the bike was in the shop for almost two weeks), I picked it up. I also bought my wife a bike at the same time. The advice from my wife's employee was great. Unfortunately, not all of the points had been addressed for my bike, and the bike was dirty (rainwater, dust, etc.). Due to the weather, I couldn't ride it for a week. Then, finally, the first tour. After the ride, I unfortunately discovered that the rear shock was defective. So I immediately complained and took the bike to the shop. Due to the warranty, the shock had to be sent back to the manufacturer. Unfortunately, my bad luck was that the manufacturer stopped offering direct support at that time and hired a service provider to take over servicing etc. of the shock. So the whole thing didn't go quite as smoothly as anyone knew exactly how to handle everything. On top of that, the shop was on vacation at the time, and thus had a shortage of staff. From the time I dropped the bike off at the shop until I got it back, it took almost five weeks, in glorious weather and without a bike. Then, finally, the bike was back, and off we went. The joy lasted exactly two days. After cycling a longer tour, I unfortunately discovered that something was still wrong with the shock. So, back to the shop. They discovered that the pressure in the shock hadn't been built up properly during service or installation. Annoying, especially since I could have completely destroyed the shock. Well, now I have my bike back and am waiting for somewhat good weather so I can finally go cycling again. Why I can definitely recommend this bike shop is: - Great team, everyone is friendly and courteous - The customer is important here, not the sales price - When buying a bike, they pay attention to what you want the bike for, not to sell you the most expensive bike - The boss doesn't take criticism personally, but rather welcomes it and tries to address it so that mistakes or problems that annoy the customer don't occur again. - Mistakes can always happen, and something can always be forgotten, but here they stand by it and don't make excuses. - Before handover (when buying a bike), an employee actually checks to make sure all the screws, etc., are tightened to the correct torque. How often do you read about someone losing something on their bike a week after purchase? - Every customer is equally valuable, regardless of whether it's a €1,500 bike or an €8,000 bike. Even though there were a few stumbling blocks in my case, you always feel that you're valued as a customer and that they try to resolve any problems. It didn't always work immediately, but it eventually worked. If you're looking for a bike shop with top-notch service and expertise, this is the right place!

I recently bought a Cube bike from the Ruit bike shop and I'm very happy with it! Tim's advice was competent and friendly, and he took the time to understand my needs. The selection in the shop is excellent, and the purchase process was seamless. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good bike, bike accessories, expert advice, and excellent service!
