I have never written such a review before, but my experience at SportScheck today was absolutely unacceptable. The salesman named Michael in the running shoes section — a middle-aged man, probably around 45 to 50 — was extremely disrespectful from the start. I didn’t even approach or speak to him, yet he interrupted me in an arrogant and dismissive way, and then went as far as to abuse me in front of other customers. His behavior was not only unprofessional but also humiliating. I came in expecting guidance on running shoes, but instead, I was met with arrogance and zero respect. It’s shocking that someone with such an attitude is allowed to work in customer service. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in a sports store. I will definitely think twice before returning here, and I strongly suggest SportScheck management take action—because no customer should ever be treated the way Michael treated me.

A large store with a wide selection. Most of the products are made in China, but the quality is quite good. Two stars due to the following incidents: 1. I bought camping gear and cookware advertised as titanium. After multiple uses and washes, it turned out to be aluminum. Very disappointing and an unpleasant deception. 2. A sales assistant insisted on putting his yellow sticker on purchase and patted me on the shoulder. Even if it was just a casual gesture, I found it very unpleasant and inappropriate. I don’t think a man should touch someone without their permission or consent, especially women. Perhaps a different incentive for sales assistants should be considered, as such behavior is off-putting.

Top notch selection, competitive prices, and goes on sale regularly. Great when you visit during off hectic hours but when it gets busy good luck getting assistance since many of the shoe models are not easily accessible. Accepts VAT form for military. Highly recommend this place for running shoes and gear!

Read a lot of things about unfriendly and borderline "racist/prejudice" staff. This was not mine and my friends' experience. Awesome store though.

Great place for running gear. Globetrotters has a slightly more hiking oriented feel. This is the spot for sports gear. Great selection. If you sign up for the club card thing it includes a discount.

I give 5 stars just because of your Employee Edi who works at the entrance level where the running shoes are displayed. He was very friendly, helpful and he gave me great advice on Running shoes and made a great effort to find appropriate shoes. Because of him I purchased 2 running shoes, which I am completely satisfied with. You guys are lucky to have such a nice and knowledgeable sales person. Because of this pleasant experience, I will consider Sportscheck as my first choice in the future needs.

Extremely unfriendly staff. They don't speak English. That's not the problem, but they seem to get offended when spoken in English. The shop is good with a lot of collections and offers, but I had a rough time at the kasse. The employees who helped with getting the right fit for the shoe were cool, though.
