Absolutely unprofessional! Delivery promises were not kept, and in my case, the goods were delayed by several weeks. Furthermore, customer service was unfriendly and unhelpful. I will gladly choose any other store in the area in the future. For me, this is a clear zero-star experience!

I bought my first e-bike there. Despite the bike-buying boom at the time due to the pandemic and the visitor restrictions, the salesperson took plenty of time for me. I also had the subsequent inspections done there for several years. It was sometimes a bit pricey, but the quality was excellent and the advice was honest and fair. Necessary repairs were always handled well.

That's not how things are done! That's outrageous! I called on Friday regarding a potential purchase! The employee told me: "I can't help you with that, but the bike is still available, and Mr. Stauß will be in the store on Saturday and will get back to me." A purchase order was created on Friday, stating that the bike was reserved and could not be sold. Then, on Saturday, I was informed that the bike had been sold. Unfortunately, I have to give one star.

On Tuesday, November 10, 2025, at 5:25 p.m., I entered the TransVelo Fahrrad GmbH bicycle shop on Strohberg in southern Stuttgart with my wife's bicycle. We've been registered customers here for many years, buying accessories and occasionally having a bicycle upgraded. My wife had asked me to drop off her bicycle the evening before, as requested, for the scheduled repair the following day. The job had been discussed beforehand. She said that appointments were a bit more relaxed in November. Well, you can always postpone an appointment from the summer by six to eight weeks. After all, what does one need a functioning bicycle for? The shop was large and brightly lit, with four employees/salespeople/mechanics present. I was the only customer. I was greeted by a rather unfriendly-looking man tinkering with a bicycle, who asked, "What do you want?" I was too taken aback to consider whether this might have something to do with Swabian politeness. I replied that I wanted to drop off my wife's bicycle for a repair appointment. "This bicycle?" I thought to myself, "No, of course not, I actually wanted to drop off my Ferrari, but I accidentally left it at home, and now I only have my wife's bicycle with me." The man started walking, "Ralf will have to sort that out." And indeed, after several inquiries about his location, Ralf was found a few minutes later. The second man also asked me what I wanted. Were the parts pre-ordered? He didn't ask for my name, didn't check the system for the order, but asked me knowledgeably if I could imagine how many people he had to talk to every day. It was impossible to remember everything, he said. Since I assumed the bicycle shop's workshop would know what it was about, I said, somewhat uncertainly but to get things moving, "I think it's about the mudguard." Now things were getting serious. The man made a grim face and said that if something had to be ordered, the next available appointment wouldn't be until January. I suppress the thought that it might make sense to order the necessary parts while discussing the repair. A third man joins us, and my memory slowly returns. Gradually, things get going, and a detailed and lengthy explanation is given of everything that's impossible and why it can't be done. This is exactly what I wanted to know, because I simply and notoriously have far too much time on my hands. Since I only wanted to drop off my wife's bike for repair, I suggest calling her so we can at least approach the topic from a perspective more appropriate to the target audience. Slightly disconcerted, I hear a seemingly endless lament. My urge to flee begins to take hold. When the phone line ends, my phone tells me that the outgoing call lasted exactly... no, I don't dare reveal that. I'll just say that the call lasted well over 10 minutes. I asked if everything was sorted and I could leave. Far from it. As I was about to say goodbye, the workshop manager very firmly vetoed my request, tapped out the keyboard, and performed a two-fingered ballet of the hunt-and-peck technique. Meanwhile, I noticed my gaze wandering around the room, searching for hidden cameras. Are they joking? If not, this must be the wrong movie. When I finally said a polite goodbye, I heard a solemn, "Don't say anything at all when you leave." TransVelo, my local bike shop, advertises its service teams, cycling happiness, first-class service, and expert advice on its website. Well, the bike wasn't bought there. In any case, November couldn't be more dreary and joyless. Things can go wrong, everyone has bad days, but this performance certainly wasn't a glowing endorsement. Addendum: My wife was able to pick up the repaired bike fairly quickly.

Cool shop. They listened to what I had in mind and then told me what I _really_ needed. I tested the thing, fell in love (with the bike), and have been riding it with great joy ever since. I'm glad I ended up there and the salesperson gave me such good advice! 🙏🏼 👍🏼

Bought my Cube bike from them, delivered to Hamburg! I got lucky finding a bike my size in an ad, and they can deliver! Process was a bit different from what I'm used to, but they were patient and very willing to handle our order. Bike arrived in great condition, ready to use with minor assembly. I did however had to tweak and adjust some stuff to my preference. Overall, I enjoyed the service and fast turnaround time for delivery. (It was surprising, a few days after paying, the bike just arrived to our house without receiving notice / confirmation)

I love these guys. They're not pushy at all, but very helpful if you ask about anything. They're happy to use English, but also allow me to practice my German hahaha... I bought a bike there 2 weeks ago. I came back in today to ask for their advice and some adjustments. They were simply friendly, helpful, and expert. Thanks!
