They were incredibly kind and patient with our toddler - thank you so much! 😊 Furthermore, they didn't try to push anything on us; we received expert advice.

We had our sewing machine serviced there. Friendly advice and service. The machine was checked quickly and at a fair price. We'd be happy to go again.

So what can I say? Very unprofessional and extremely unfriendly. I just wanted to have my brakes adjusted, but the guy in overalls came at me with some really strange things, saying the brakes were very low quality (which is definitely not true!!!!!) and that I needed to install new ones, etc. So I can only advise everyone to steer clear of this place. It's beyond me how they stay in business. Absolutely terrible service 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

After a personal visit on May 8, 2025, to inquire about truing a front wheel, the workshop employee asked me to bring in the wheel I had already removed (without the tire and tube, which I had done myself). He said he would inspect it and give me a price quote. I brought the wheel to the shop as soon as it opened on May 9, 2025. The order was taken, and I was told I could pick it up that same day after 5:00 PM. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I arrived just a few minutes before closing time. The sales assistant had already locked up and was about to unlock the shop when the workshop employee came by and asked me to accompany him. He retrieved the wheel and told me the price. Since I didn't have the exact amount, he accepted the lower amount in bills. He was unable to operate the cash register. I told him I could bring the missing five euros the next day, but he politely declined, saying, "That's fine." Very friendly and accommodating! Other shops probably wouldn't be so understanding! I can wholeheartedly recommend them from my own experience! 1. I was told what to do, and they followed through. 2. The job was completed within the agreed timeframe. 3. Because of my own oversight and the fact that I didn't have the exact amount in cash, they offered me a discount! That's true customer service, and Fahrrad-Ries has gained a new customer whom I can recommend as my first choice, both via Google and by phone!

I had the bottom bracket replaced, the brake pads renewed, and the chain oiled. Despite other defects being discovered, the costs were lower than initially estimated (€98), and I was able to pick it up earlier than originally agreed. The service was also competent and friendly. If you're not satisfied here, I don't know where you'll be.

I bought my bike from Ries! (That shouldn't matter.) So far, so good. Then came the first service. I had a problem with the charger that came with the bike. When I picked up the bike, I brought my charger with me to check if the problem was with the charger. It was briefly connected, and it indicated that the bike was charging. I said that it also showed that it was charging, but the battery wasn't actually charging. Then I was told I should buy a different charger because they weren't familiar with the Bosch Fast Charger 6A!!! (How can that happen in a specialist shop???). Then I was left alone because they said they didn't have time for me anymore. They had to take care of the shop. And then the man simply left. I wasn't told what work had been done on the bike, whether anything was defective, or when the next service was due. ->>> I've never experienced anything like this before. Are they just trying to sell bikes here??? ->>> That was the last time I'll ever visit that shop, and I certainly won't be buying anything there again.

Beyond unfriendly. I went into this shop early Friday morning with a problem with my bicycle, and the man working there refused to take the time to serve me, even though I was the first and only customer at the time. I was so surprised that I asked him why he was treating me so badly... he simply said, "Goodbye if you don't like it. You have no idea about customer service. I wouldn't have minded paying for your time." Since I see good reviews here, I wonder if the unequal treatment is aimed at foreigners, which would be even worse, knowing that there are such intolerant people offering their services these days.

Wonderful service. Family oriented. Great selection of bikes and accessories for all ages. They assisted us in both German and English when we had difficulty with the German language.

A very good family business with excellent service. Competent advice. Mr. Ries, his family, and his staff are always helpful and friendly. Whether it's buying my bike or needing a repair, we're in the best hands there. I can wholeheartedly recommend the sales and repair service.
