I bought an air rifle for my daughter, received excellent advice, and the staff was friendly. She even got to shoot a few shots, and the prices were unbeatable. I'd gladly come back, even though it's about 150 km each way.

We did get what we wanted, but the staff's friendliness left a lot to be desired. They were very curt and unapproachable, impatient, and unfriendly... unfortunately, something we often experience here in Bavaria; we're used to a different experience in North Rhine-Westphalia. What a shame! But as I said, we got what we were looking for, and the selection/product range is extensive.

Unfortunately, the service I received wasn't very friendly. It's not easy to write negative reviews for long-established shops, but I can only echo the numerous other experiences of less-than-positive service.

Unfortunately, December 23rd, the day before Christmas, is always very busy for us. It's normal and unfortunately unavoidable that things sometimes have to move quickly because many other customers are waiting.

We went to Holme's with the simple and straightforward goal of buying a grip for our pistol. An employee was quick to assist us. Even while unpacking the gun, we received strange looks because it appeared the screw wasn't original. We quickly fetched other tools, including the junior manager, who then made it very clear that the grip didn't have an original screw and wasn't an original grip at all. We replied that we had bought it along with the gun from Holme over 20 years ago (we even still have the receipt). We received a curt response from the junior manager, who said he'd been there for 30 years and didn't sell "such things." Of course, he emphasized that he was the junior manager, which, in this case, was obviously very important. Even if a customer had fitted something else to their gun, shouldn't that not bother the retailer? After finding a grip size XL, the employee discovered that it didn't fit our system. We were given a curt reply, "We'll have to order that part," without any attempt to understand the problem. After such poor service, we left the store without the handle. A few days later, we went to a different store, which was further away. After just 10 minutes and without any problems, we left with the same size L handle, without needing or having to order any additional spare parts. I wish Holme had offered this kind of service!

The fact is, we do not sell weapons with ring grips.<br><br>The exception is if it is a used weapon, which was not mentioned.<br><br>These grips have a different mounting system than the originals, so original grips cannot be directly installed.<br><br>We offered to source these parts for you, but you did not accept. If another dealer had the parts for a nearly 20-year-old weapon in stock, then you were very lucky.

Helmut Scheuerer / Taufkirchen-Vils Hello everyone! I've been a satisfied customer of Waffen-Holme since 1982! I buy things for myself, but I've also purchased equipment for our shooting club from Holme to my complete satisfaction! The staff have always been very friendly and helpful, and they repaired my older but very good Anschütz LG 380, suitable for three-position competitions, very well and at a great price! They go the extra mile and also supply complex and unusual systems, such as a variable (adjustable) front sight, tailored to the individual's eyesight, at a truly fair price! We're from a shooting club in South Tyrol and traveled about four hours specifically because we urgently needed six shooting rests for our village shooting competition. We called the day before to inquire about availability – (the online shop listed them as ON REQUEST). The answer we received over the phone was clear: "Yes, they're here – just come by." We also arranged a shooting test for 10:00 AM. We left at 5:30 AM and arrived around 10:15 AM. The shooting test went smoothly, but the employee in charge didn't seem particularly cheerful, perhaps because we were a bit late, but we couldn't have planned for the traffic around Munich – oh well, these things happen. The real problem came afterward: Regarding the shooting rests, we were suddenly told: "Unfortunately not, we don't have them – we can ship them to you." After a four-hour drive for urgently needed items, this is simply disappointing and should have been clearly communicated over the phone. ... The friendly and competent service from the junior manager and another employee was a definite plus. The fact that certain colors or items were unavailable due to supply shortages is simply how it is – Holme can't be held responsible for that. The absolute worst part came at the checkout: I paid around €2,000 in cash for the club, and I also wanted to pay approximately €500 for personal purchases (including accessories) using my debit card. The website explicitly states that debit cards are accepted, only credit and credit cards are not. When I pointed this out, or rather, asked why debit card payments weren't possible, the (presumably senior) manager responded in a very rude tone: "BECAUSE WE'RE A GUN SHOP" – and gave me the finger. My colleague and I were speechless. It should be explicitly stated that at that time we were only buying accessories, neither weapons nor live ammunition. Such treatment of customers is completely unacceptable to me. I scraped together the last of my cash, paid, and quickly left the store. After an 8-hour drive, nearly €2,500 in sales, missing promised merchandise, and this kind of treatment: No thanks. Holme won't be seeing me again.

There's been a misunderstanding! The "bird" comment referred to the fact that banks are withholding transactions from foreign debit cards because we are a gun shop. This was in no way directed at you.<br><br>Unfortunately, we neglected to reserve the shooting stands; otherwise, they would have been ready for you. We would have gladly sent them to you in Italy free of charge, but you declined.<br><br>We have been in business for over 60 years and have maintained ties with South Tyrol for 50 years or more. Many of our customers know our senior manager and his wife personally. They both take great care to ensure our customers receive the friendliest possible service. Many officials of the South Tyrolean Riflemen's Association can attest to this.

The product itself is perfectly fine. Selling it online is absolutely no problem. But the customer service is inadequate. I wrote two emails and received no reply. I tried calling... no one answered or the line was busy. Now I have a product I'm having problems with. Thanks.

This was my first time visiting Waffen Holme in person. (I've known the store by name for decades.) I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection. It was during the "Autumn Festival" – a Sunday with shops open – so there were quite a few people there. I asked for advice on a shooting jacket. Again, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the salesman managed to advise me, despite the crowds! I'll definitely go there again next time. (Maybe when there isn't an Autumn Festival, though. :-) )

We traveled from far away hoping Holme would be as good as word suggested. Wrong. We were initially left standing for 10 minutes, then told there wasn't much choice for left-handed shooters, and what was there was just fine. The friend I was there with wanted to look for additional clothing, but was only given a disparaging look and the comment, "With those body measurements and as a left-handed shooter, you won't have much success here" (custom fitting etc. weren't even suggested, even though they're heavily advertised on the website). We also wanted to inquire about an air rifle. We were shown the cheapest and the most expensive. In between? Well, I don't know. Towards the end, we were almost pressured into making a decision: "You have to buy that rifle quickly, otherwise it'll be gone - we don't order that much for left-handed shooters, but they have to be satisfied, too." Problem? The rifle we were supposed to order was only briefly shown in a photo. Not a demonstration model or similar model. Nor was anyone ever asked how long they'd been shooting. They were labeled beginners without even asking. Both have been members of the shooting club for years. Conclusion: not again.

A very, very friendly welcome from the entire staff made entering the store a pleasant experience. The highly competent advice and instruction on the rifle and its features was truly enjoyable and made the purchase decision easy. Those who provide good advice also rightfully sell well. Top-notch gun dealer!!
