Damage to the seat tube of a Tarmac SL7: Accurate diagnosis, expert advice, very clean work done, finished faster than expected! Thank you so much!

The result took "a bit longer" (around 5-6 months), but it's fantastic. It's barely noticeable, if at all, with the reworked/completed design in the repaired area. I was a little skeptical for the first few kilometers, but now the frame has about 2000 km on it, including sprints and cobblestones. I hope I won't become a regular repair customer 😉... but if I do, I'll definitely go here!

Hi CarboRep, thank you so much for your excellent work and outstanding service!! My Enzo is practically like new again! The first drive was fantastic. I can't understand the bad reviews. If someone expects Amazon Prime delivery from a small, independent business, they should be utterly ashamed of themselves! :)

The repair of the swingarm was carried out reasonably well. However, months (!) later, there was absolutely no response to dozens of calls, emails, or online form submissions until delivery. Only the threat of criminal charges for embezzlement and fraud, along with a claim for damages, broke the silence and suddenly the swingarm was ready. That's unacceptable these days, stay away!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this at all... It was supposed to take 10 weeks, but it ended up taking almost 23. There was no notification of the delay, and emails went unanswered for weeks. Never again!

I was very satisfied with the company's work. Sure, there were long (and previously communicated) waiting times, but all in all, it was really great.

I can't agree with the previous reviews. Admittedly, it also took four months for delivery in my case, hence only four stars. Communication was friendly. A defect on the top tube, which I hadn't mentioned, was repaired as a goodwill gesture. Furthermore, shipping was included in the price. I have a working bike again and don't have to throw the frame away, and that's the main thing.

112 days from receipt at Carborep to delivery – if I had known that beforehand... The communication leaves much to be desired, and at that price, one should expect better customer service...

My predecessor seems to have had a similar experience to mine... At least he got his frame back. The ongoing odyssey: Communication with the boss: "Yes, we'll take the frame. Costs (relatively low in my opinion)... Just send it in... Oh, wait, we're currently closed due to fire damage. We'll be back in business in a few months." Okay, I understand, then I'll just send it later. Sent the frame in mid/late March and only received confirmation of receipt with a condition report and a request for order approval three weeks later. I thought, well... it's only taken three weeks so far... According to the website, the repair takes four to six weeks. With that in mind, I was prepared for a correspondingly long wait. Six weeks later, still no response. Okay, then I'll write and ask about the status. Two weeks later, still no answer. And yet, the communication was really good at the beginning! Wrote again and received no reply. Now I'm getting suspicious... I called... Out of Date voicemail picked up. I checked the website again for clues and found out that the same guy also runs the bike shop in Erlangen. Okay, I'll try my luck there then. I called, no one answered. I tried again the next day... Carborep -> Voicemail Surprisingly, a young guy answered. He couldn't help me, but said the boss wouldn't be back until evening. He wrote down my number and would give it to the boss when he returned. That was over a week ago... Since then, I've been trying to reach someone every day. Honestly... that's no way to treat customers. You can at least expect a brief update and some reassurance. But not getting back to them at all is just incredibly rude. It immediately gives you a bad feeling about the shop, and you just hope you get your frame back in one piece. I think the boss might be good at working on bikes, but he has absolutely no clue about business management. A happy customer is absolutely crucial for a business. Word gets around, and with the internet, you run the risk of going bankrupt much faster because new customers don't want to be served by incompetent people! Existing customers will naturally start looking for better alternatives eventually. I'd love to go to the shop and tell him to his face... Amateurs...

Absolutely NOT recommended! I had my YT carbon frame shipped to Erlangen in mid-February, with the promise that it would be ready by mid-March. Mid-March was then promised as the end of March, then postponed to mid-April, then the end of April, then mid-May (I was constantly calling and emailing!). Now, at the beginning of June(!), I finally got it back, with a result that left me speechless! The paint job is absolutely terrible – with clearly visible masking tape edges. The repair area is badly uneven, and in some places, open pores are visible. The repair itself, the repair process, the customer service, and the paint job are all utterly amateurish and completely unprofessional! My conclusion: ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!
