At the beginning of winter, I went to Sport Bittl in Fürstenfeldbruck with the firm intention of buying a completely new set of ski equipment. I arrived promptly at 10:00 a.m., as one of the first customers. Unfortunately, I still had to wait to be served, and when a salesperson finally came, he was simultaneously serving another customer. While I generally find this acceptable, it doesn't feel quite right when it means I have to wait even longer and other salespeople are standing around looking "bored" in the background. Even after asking, I wasn't given any prices for the ski boots, which I found quite surprising. Overall, I also found the store very dark, and the male employees I encountered (including on previous visits) were rather unfriendly. Several times, I felt pressured to buy things I didn't want or need. All in all, it wasn't a pleasant experience, and I won't be visiting the store again.

My friend and I bought new running shoes in late summer. Unfortunately, the employee who helped us was very unfriendly, seemed bored and annoyed. We didn't feel welcome and will shop elsewhere next time. We're happy with the shoes themselves, hence the three stars, given generously.

Hey Bittl Team. Last year, after the skating season, I bought two pairs of ice skates from you. They cost €230. Thankfully, we knew what we wanted since there was no salesperson around. The salesperson who helped us choose the right size after we'd selected them said the skates needed sharpening to be safe. I had this done: two initial sharpenings for €10 each because we bought them there, and one sharpening of my old skates for €20. This year, I tried them out on the ice for the first time. It wasn't a great experience. We took the skates to a professional for another €60 because they hadn't been sharpened at all, or hardly at all. Unfortunately, I can't recommend your products. This is not what I call safe.

Large selection of ski equipment at very good prices. Mounted ski bindings on my new skis in less than an hour.

I went to the store to look for new ski equipment. The selection is okay, but not outstanding. What bothered me was the lackluster service, as if they weren't particularly interested in engaging with the customers. When I ask for recommendations, I expect at least a little effort. It's a shame, because with a bit more customer service, the store could be much more appealing. As it is, it leaves a rather mediocre impression.
