The E-PACKR is a smaller, but extremely sturdy e-bike. The build quality seems quite good. The gears shift smoothly. Assembly after shipping is straightforward. Thanks to its 20" wheels, it can even be taken on local subways and commuter trains free of charge. A trailer hitch is easy to install. It's better suited for city riding (especially with the appropriate basket and rack accessories, which transform it into a true cargo bike) than for longer trips, but that seems possible too.

The service is abysmal. I've now found a great workshop in Reutlingen myself to take care of the flat rear tire on my E-Moover. Himmelbrett is doing reliable repairs after no one at Metz was able to recommend a workshop. It's outrageous that Metz requires payment for the estimate before the actual repair. We expected more from a reputable company. The price-performance ratio is completely unacceptable. Thank you for your response, but... our repair company had to order a new tire from you. Unfortunately, they only sell them in pairs... so we're prepared for the next flat, we agreed to purchase two tires. But this demonstrates the company's customer-unfriendly and inflexible approach.

The E-PACKR eBike is an outstanding bicycle. It features a sturdy and torsionally rigid steel frame, a very clever solution for cargo baskets mounted on the front fork tube and rear seat tube, (hydraulic) disc brakes, and the continuously variable Enviolo hub gear system. It's not lightweight, but I don't intend to carry it, I want to ride it. The mid-drive motor is very quiet, the display is easy to read, and the assistance is impressive even in power mode. The handlebars are height-adjustable, and there are vertical dropouts not only at the front but also at the rear, where a chain tensioner is integrated. The price is also quite reasonable, especially considering the quality. And the new models are a testament to continuous innovation.

STAY AWAY from this company. Worst service ever! Metz is heavily promoting e-mobility but doesn't offer adequate workshop service! I have a Metz Moover that unfortunately has a flat rear tire. The authorized dealers listed on their website only offer sales. Repairs are not offered. Contacting customer service was also appalling. No help or support was offered. €1,600.00 completely wasted. What good is the scooter if there's no repair service?! ZERO out of 5 stars

In mid-2023, I bought a wonderful E-PACKR. Delivery by Metz was completely problem-free. It's a great little cargo bike, with excellent workmanship. I also purchased an ABUS 4750X NR frame lock, including a bracket and mounting hardware, from Metz: highly recommended.

The Metz E-Packr was the one I wanted. I consciously chose to avoid a Chinese manufacturer. Delivery was trouble-free... The first charge was supposed to happen after a few days, but that proved impossible. Since Metz was closed for their annual holiday, a warranty claim was delayed. The technician's suggestion to send the battery and charger in for testing (4 weeks after purchase!) was rendered moot by buying a second power adapter. And lo and behold... charging was possible, and all the LEDs lit up as described in the manual. A manufacturer like this should test all accessories before sale/delivery. This also applies to Metz chargers! Even during the holiday, proper warranty management should be in place. Recommending sending in the battery and charger just a few weeks after purchase is infuriating. It's worth mentioning that it was impossible to find an e-bike dealer in the area who could have tested the power adapter or battery (Rosenberger connector). So, Metz it is! The next time there's a charging problem, just send the customer a power adapter; that will drastically reduce the delay...

Metz E-Packr 8.E One of the best e-bikes in Germany. Great company, Ms. Etzel was super nice, helpful, and friendly on the phone. I highly recommend Metz products. We love our E-Packr.

I wanted to tell you about my ordeal with the Metz Moover Plus. The Moover was purchased directly from Metz in May 2020. Even on the first few rides, the scooter would switch off while riding, but could be restarted immediately, allowing us to continue. Nevertheless, we immediately sent the scooter back for repair and received it back on June 16, 2020. Unfortunately, it turned out that the scooter was still sporadically malfunctioning. Therefore, it was sent back to Metz again in September 2020. There, a new wiring harness was installed and new software was flashed. The battery was not replaced, even though I had pointed out that it was probably defective. After that, the scooter ran, but the problem of it occasionally switching off while riding persisted. However, it could always be restarted, so I was tired of sending it back to Metz again. Now it has happened that the Metz Moover Plus switches off while driving and cannot be restarted. Only when the charger is connected does it charge and is then supposedly almost fully charged. When I then start driving, it switches off again after 100 meters and is dead again. Therefore, I sent it back to Metz at my own expense (for the third time) to be repaired. They finally acknowledged that the battery was defective and sent me a repair estimate of €299. I then called a woman named Ezel to express my dissatisfaction, as the scooter is still under warranty. The woman explained to me that she has nothing to do with Metz, as they are bankrupt and batteries are not covered by the warranty because they were apparently deeply discharged by the customer. I cannot accept such behavior with such a premium product, especially since the problem with the scooter existed from the beginning and was never resolved. I feel compelled to advise everyone against buying a Metz Moover, as the quality of the vehicles does not meet the "made in Germany" standard. Even worse, a defect is not resolved professionally; instead, the customer has to deal with various repair attempts and ultimately pay for the extremely expensive repair themselves. Therefore, my advice is: stay away from the Metz Moover or any other products from the Metz company.
