I enjoy coming to this shop and workshop, and have done so for many years. Everything runs like clockwork, whether the owner or his employees are there. Everyone is friendly, courteous, and helpful. Whether I'm buying something in the shop, having a tire changed and stored, or the car needs to be taken to the workshop, they reliably call when the car is ready to be picked up. They give helpful advice for free. How wonderful that shops like this still exist 🙏 they've become so valuable in our time. Thank you for that, and I'd be happy to come back anytime.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this workshop. My father brought his car in to have his wheel bearings replaced because of a noise. This took three days, and in the end they charged far too much (also confirmed by other workshops and experts). The noise has gone away, but a new squealing noise develops at 50 km/h. The workshop carried out unnecessary tasks that the workshop had not been commissioned to do (such as changing the oil, which was not necessary!) and is also billing this as labor. Because of this, we have made an appointment at another workshop and contacted a lawyer. I would not recommend this workshop as it is not trustworthy! This one star is already too much for a rating; if it were up to me, we would have given it 0 stars!

We are very sorry that you were not as satisfied with our service as we had hoped. Unfortunately, you canceled the appointment for the follow-up work at short notice. We did not perform an oil change on the vehicle, but merely topped up the engine oil, as the oil level was at the minimum and we didn't want to take any unnecessary risks during an extended test drive. Regarding the costs for the diagnosis and repair, we adhered to the manufacturer's timeframes.<br><br>After reaching an agreement with you, you unfortunately broke your promise and deleted this comment. It's very damaging when someone doesn't keep their word.

Highly competent, fast, and courteous service. After years of being a customer of various authorized repair shops, I've finally found a workshop in ACR that I have complete confidence in. As a customer, you can feel the positive and open working atmosphere within Mr. Disanto's team. They don't try to sell you anything you don't need or portray your problems as "difficult"; instead, they clearly discuss the necessary repairs while considering cost-effectiveness. Fair prices complete the positive impression. Highly recommended!

Our two experiences here: 1) Reading the fault memory wasn't possible immediately; the car had to be left there. Reading and clearing the memory the next day, in my presence, took about 5 minutes, and a flat fee of almost €70 was charged. They didn't need any access to manufacturer databases or anything similar for my model, and no additional diagnostics were performed. I don't understand such a flat fee and the complete lack of any flexibility. I was literally back out after 10 minutes... 2) An ABS sensor was replaced on my wife's car, and everything went smoothly. About a year later, the one on the other side needed replacing, which was done directly at VW. That was significantly cheaper, so out of curiosity, I compared the invoices. VW charged 30 minutes, ACR 1.5 hours (?! All that's needed is to remove the wheel...). The sensor itself cost €65 as an original part at VW, while ACR charged €80 for an aftermarket one. I then looked for exactly that one in the accessories section, and it's available online for €24... I think that says it all... They were friendly there, though, at least that's something.

EDIT from October 31, 2020: The exhaust issue has now been resolved, even though the car passed its roadworthiness test (HU) at the garage a month ago. The handbrake still isn't working properly. So, I'm revising my positive review. I'm definitely going to find a new garage and am also considering buying a new car. I would have been better off investing the money I spent at the ACR garage in that. EDIT from October 13, 2020: The garage promptly addressed my request to rectify the defects (the handbrake wasn't working properly), so I'd like to correct my negative review.

Great service, polite staff, reasonable prices. Owner speaks excellent English so that was a bonus for me not being fluent in German yet. I will go back.
