Hello, today I went to this store for an emergency. I felt that some of the things that happened to me at the store were quite rude, but the drop that filled the glass was a 20 euro minimum card fee. I feel that the only excuse for a minimum card payment is transaction fees, but at such a high minimum, that excuse does not count. Plus, in a bike store. This is a cheap way to nudge people towards overbuying (key word nudge, you can always go to the cash machine as I did. But this doesn't undermine the filthy intentions the store owner presumably has). I thought maybe I'm blowing this out of proportion, let me look at their google reviews. There, I entered the rabbit hole. 3.4 average, with a ton of one-star reviews. I discovered that they overprice pretty much everything in the store, and that many others felt their behaviour was rude. One review started their post with SCAMMERS, claiming they had overpaid for "the best wheels they had", and the air chamber malfunctioned within a month. It seems that the issues have been onging for years. 2 years ago: "Complete rip off, avoid at all costs". 5 years ago: "super expensive even for the little things to repair. Never again" And mind you, there are plenty of stores in similar central-ish locations, even much smaller than them, that charge way less forbasically anything. If it wasn't an emergency, I would have stepped out immediately. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Unfortunately, I have to say the same as others: STAY AWAY, THEY’RE SCAMMERS. My bike simply had a loose pedal, and the guys told me they’ll need to change everything and charge 60 euros! Another shop nearby (Zundapp) fixed it by tightening the screw and didn’t charge a single penny…

I paid a lot of money ~100€ for "the best tires they have". Got my bike back, left in my yard, went on vacation. Only to discover that about a month later both of my tires had absolutely no air in them.

Very helpful and knowledgeable about bikes. They stayed open late to help me purchase my new e-bike. Great selection of bikes for any size. I'm a tall guy and I was happy they had a big bike.

It's a ripoff, they're not efficient, and really rude. They attached a light to my bike and it broke off a few days later. I ended up going 3 times, and they wanted to charge me each of those times, even though the problem ended up being their mistake. When I wasn't willing to pay for it a third time, they demanded to see the previous receipts (before even looking at the bike), even though they did remember me. I am NEVER coming back here. If I'm going to pay a lot, I expect decent service at least.

They helped very quickly and the price was honest (40 euro for changing the 1 wheel and fixing the breaks). The others were rude and wanted to fix an appointment after weeks lol. From my experience I can recommend Cycleclinic.

English version: It's often difficult to find a good shop that upholds professionalism, ethics, and good work. I'm an international student in München recently getting into mountain biking, I had ordered bike parts here and there, and went several times to the shop to bombard them with questions, and they've been helpful many times. Not to mention the fact that several shops don't assemble bikes from scratch unless you purchase the bike from the shop. At very competitive prices / hour, I can easily recommend this shop when you need any help. Just an example of how good they are, the shop mechanic working on my bike at the time (Andreas) called me to tell me of an issue with the seat post I brought for assembly, relaying the info to me in German, as I could not understand properly. Andreas had another coworker and what I assume to be the owner/manager call me to convey it in English so that proper steps could be taken.

Super friendly guys, good selection of bikes and parts, and reasonable prices. I don't get most of the negative reviews here, people have weird expectations about what customer service is. Bike shops are notoriously overrun with customers during the summer months and have to manage their time and effort to make sure that they don't fall behind. If you don't like it, learn how to fix your own bike or stop whining.

Not really satisfied with the service as only option was to wait one hour on-site until the service is done to take the bike directly back. It was not possible to pick the bike up later on the same day as they have no storage room.

My experience with this store has been great so far. Really nice crew, who sometimes help you even free of charge (when parts are lose, for instance). Their advice seemed to me always very professional. Why all the bad reviews? Bike nerds are hard to satisfy and they like to complain, I guess.
