It requires some practice and guidance, but the results are completely convincing. What I used to do manually in an hour, the device does in 3 minutes. My bike was dirty from the dirt on the road and gravel paths along the Isar River. Tip: You should devote more time to cleaning the rear (cassette, derailleur, chain, etc.) than the front of the bike. Completely satisfied!

Hi Anatol, thank you so much, that's exactly what I wanted! :-)

Best regards
Read
Pedal Heroes

Good idea, poorly implemented. In theory, an automatic bike wash sounds great, but it doesn't work at all. If the bike is even slightly dirty beforehand, it won't be clean afterward either. Anywhere the brushes can't reach (down tube, derailleur, inside of the rim, inside of the chainring), the mud and dust remain exactly as they were before, only wet. The saddle and handlebars aren't cleaned at all. You might as well leave the bike out in the rain. But then you have to constantly drag the bike through the wash and reposition it, and you get wet in the process. The brake levers on racing bikes also constantly get caught on the bristles of the wash station. As far as I can tell, there's no cleaning agent in the water. The machine is simply not well thought out. In a world where there are bike wash stations with simple high-pressure cleaners and cleaning foam that actually clean the bike with comparable manual effort, just as quickly, and for less money, I don't see the value in such a solution.

It seems that a pre-wash is no longer possible. It was difficult to handle, and the bike didn't get clean. It was good for rinsing off the coarse dirt, but definitely not worth €10. // Addendum to the answer: the bike wasn't very dirty, and a subsequent wash would have cleaned it, of course. But then it's no longer a true 24-hour system. I don't want to ride halfway through the car wash either.

Hello,
Thank you for your review. Of course, the degree of dirt on the bike will determine how thorough the cleaning will be. Behind the facility, we have our repair station where bikes can be hung for a final wash. Microfiber cloths are always available on our table. We're happy to help with the first few washes during our opening hours. Clean greetings, your Pedal Heroes

Amazing bike wash! Works really well, even on carbon frames and matte carbon wheels. The bike is cleaned in under 5 minutes, and the chain and chainrings are noticeably cleaner and grease-free. Highly recommended. For perfectionists, it's recommended to run the bike through the wash twice, once forwards and once backwards. Then dry it off with the cleaning cloths on the wooden barrel, touching up as needed. The price could be lower... €8?

Great. Thanks for your review. You have 60 seconds per wash position.

The bike is pushed along manually. You can briefly pause the system with the stop (red) button. Pressing the start (blue) button restarts it. The system runs for a total of 180 seconds. You can stop it as often as you like. Best regards, Your Pedal Heroes.

Nice idea, but the execution is somewhat lacking. The instructions could be more detailed, and a timer would be helpful. €10 for a 3-minute wash is also a bit steep. With these temperatures, you should also check if there's any water in the machine at all, as there doesn't seem to be a fresh water connection.

That's a really nice idea. The first time I used it, it wasn't easy, but the second time my bike was very clean and I'm very happy with it. 10 euros is a bit expensive, I think.

Great idea! My e-bike was pretty dirty, so I tried the 24/7 car wash. Unfortunately, the pre-wash function was broken (nothing came out). And when I washed it in the machine, only part of the bike was cleaned; many areas remained heavily soiled. I find the price of €10 for a 4-minute wash exorbitantly high. So, I'll just do a one-time wash out of curiosity. By hand, with a bucket of water and 15 minutes of work, I get better results. For €3, €4, or even €5, you could consider going to Cyclewash...but €10 costs the same as a car wash, totally excessive – unfortunately!
Owner's response
Hello Mr. Eller, we are very sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations. The problem with the pre-wash nozzle was that, due to the high volume of tires after driving through the desert sand, the reservoir for the pre-wash ran dry before we could refill it. We apologize for this, and it was due to the exceptional circumstances. We are constantly striving to improve the system. We have recently invested again and upgraded the brushes to a new drive system for even greater cleaning power. We believe the price is justified, and we have many cyclists who are very satisfied and use this system regularly.

To rectify the issue, please feel free to visit us during our opening hours with your ID card, referencing this review, and you will receive a free replacement wash. Sorry again, and best regards, Dominic

Great place to get a through cleaning done of your bicycle. You have the option of getting it done on your own through the automated machine, with a little help on the machine and a thorough clean. I got the thorough clean done and it took just an hour. Definitely worth the spend for a sparkling clean bicycle!

Great! A 24/7 bike wash. Bit expensive (10 EUR), but does the job. Only point of improvement: a Timer which shows how long your cycle still goes. You have 4 minutes and 2 stations (pre-wash + wash), so if you take too long for the first station, the washing machine turns off in the middle of the cycle and leaves your back tire diry.
