This is the perfect example of poor service from the shop owner. I arrived at 10:45 a.m. to have my skate blades sharpened; the shop closes at noon. The owner said he was very busy with other things... The shop was empty. He didn't want to bother with a three-minute service. Very unfriendly.

The service was okay. The selection was quite good, and we found what we were looking for. Calling ahead might be a good idea, as the door could be locked even if the lights are on.

Twice within five months, the same situation occurred: Although the store should have been open according to Google Maps, the lights were on, and the "K2-OPEN" sign was prominently displayed on the entrance door, I found myself standing in front of a locked door in the middle of the day. I called, but no one answered. Both times, I received a text message shortly afterward saying "currently at the dentist" or "currently at the doctor's." So, in the future, I'll simply go to the doctor DURING working hours and let my boss see what happens! 🤣 Or are we really supposed to believe in the incredible coincidence of two emergencies occurring on those two specific days? Even then, owners can change their opening hours in Google Maps, even for individual days. The only thing I can recommend about this store is to call ahead to confirm they're actually open during the advertised hours.

I definitely recommend adults get their skates sharpened somewhere else. After having them sharpened, I went to a game and discovered that instead of a size 10 skate, I had a size 18! Absolutely unacceptable, sorry. I couldn't play in the game. Based on the sharpening, I could have played goalie. Nevertheless, the man in the shop is quite nice. That's the only reason for the two stars.
