I specifically requested only the repair of my flat tire, and then I was given an estimate of €400. I then reiterated that I only wanted the flat tire repaired. Then they quoted a more extensive estimate. You get the feeling they're trying to squeeze every last penny out of you.

We certainly don't want you to feel pressured.<br><br>We'd like to briefly clarify the situation: You booked a checkup with us, mentioning the flat rear tire. As a professional bike shop, it's our aim (and our duty) to thoroughly inspect a bicycle for roadworthiness and wear. Unfortunately, in addition to the tire, we also discovered a worn chain and cassette, as well as brake issues.<br><br>We listed these issues transparently in the estimate and subsequently reduced the quote to just the tire repair, as requested. We're very sorry that the repair ultimately wasn't carried out.<br><br>Our goal is never to incur unnecessary costs, but rather to ensure that our customers are safe on the road and enjoy cycling.<br><br>Best regards, Jakob from bikepick

Everything went perfectly 👍 From pickup to return, everything was top-notch. After a short test ride, everything sounds good again. The brakes no longer squeak, and the new pedals are perfect. Unfortunately, the old/original pedals weren't returned to me. They would have been usable for other bikes.

A super straightforward workshop where you don't have to wait long for an appointment. Booking, pickup, and delivery were incredibly easy. The phone support when I had to reschedule my pickup was very friendly and helpful. Today I took my bike for its first ride, and everything works perfectly (shifting through all the gears, test braking, etc.). My bike didn't need any major repairs, just maintenance, inspection, and minor upgrades (pedals, tires, trailer hitch). I would definitely recommend bikepick, and if I ever need anything done to my bike again, I'll gladly book their service again.

Excellent service! Scheduling an appointment was super easy, as was the pickup, the phone call to discuss what needed to be done, and the quick return. In my case, one thing was overlooked, but it was rectified very quickly and generously. I'm very satisfied and can highly recommend Bikepick if you don't have the time or the necessary skills yourself.

I'm absolutely thrilled! I have very little time, so this is a huge help in my daily life. My bike isn't exactly a "simple" bike either. The derailleur bearings and chain were completely shot. That's why I was a bit skeptical at first whether this was even possible. But everything went like clockwork! The website is so user-friendly; you can't go wrong (scheduling appointments, getting a quote, etc.). The service is simply top-notch! I won't be using anything else in the future. Unfortunately, I have to significantly lower my rating because a lot has happened in the meantime. I've used the service several times. Right at the beginning, I had my eBike upgraded for a price that would have been enough to get two without an E. I was also very satisfied with the execution and the time taken. That was in August 2023, but then the drama began. February 29, 2024: Spoke replaced, then gearshift was incorrectly adjusted, broke, was readjusted again, is running perfectly again, is OK except for the time loss. July 11, 2024 Spoke broken again + saddle needs to be made smooth (still difficult) No communication that it would only be possible with a complete replacement + brake check rattles (still rattles) Spoke replaced, gearshift not adjusted again (gearshifts sometimes under load, gears come through very late! July 15, 2024 Call, I was told the entire gearshift needs to be replaced now, even though 1A had no problems before and only the gears are incorrectly adjusted. Explanation: Customer relationship will be terminated due to criticism. They want to fix the error but not deal with other problems, they'll take it to a specialist workshop in this condition for inspection, then to a lawyer! Communication doesn't work like that; you can't immediately become stubborn about every criticism. To be fair, I have to say that the gearshift problem should have been fixed free of charge, but given the time it takes to fix it, I'd rather take it somewhere else! To be fair, I'm giving it 3 stars and not the outrageous 1. The work was done, unfortunately rather poorly. Additional information: At the beginning, I waited If you were also friendly and polite, then you were twisting my words. I paid a thousand euros, and everything you described below was done. I ride the bike normally on the road, not off-road, and every time you came back, it wouldn't shift properly except the first time. Everything was actually pretty new, and you're trying to tell me something about the "Kaiser"...! The offers you made are and were not productive and of poor quality. The fact that you charged for things that worked just as well before and after is simply outrageous. There was no real communication; you're not allowed to complain, otherwise the business relationship will be terminated. Look at your review after a short time... that says it all, it will continue like this!

Hi Dirk,<br><br>Thank you for your feedback.<br><br>After the first spoke replacement, the issue wasn't with the gears being incorrectly adjusted, but rather with the smallest sprocket being worn out, which we replaced free of charge (see invoice).<br><br>Regarding the seatpost, we contacted you several times by phone and couldn't find a solution.<br><br>You repeatedly shouted at our staff on the phone, which is why no one wanted to contact you anymore. Because of this, and due to your repeated misrepresentation of the facts, we no longer wish to conduct business with you.
