I wanted to have the annual service done on my new company bike. Unfortunately, the first quote I received was incomprehensible. It included removing and replacing the chain and both brakes on my new gravel bike (approximately 5 months old and with 400km of normal city use). The cost of over €350 seemed neither justified nor necessary. The price/performance ratio was only acceptable. The pick-up and delivery service was very good and quick.

Hi Johannes,<br><br>Thanks for your feedback.<br><br>That does sound very early for the usage you described. That's why I took another look at the order. It suggested replacing the front brake pads and cleaning the brake disc because the brake was squeaking and not braking well. That actually has little to do with the mileage or usage, but can be caused by dirt on the brake disc/pads.<br><br>I can't say whether the chain was/is worn; it's rather unlikely at 400 km, but not impossible.<br><br>Of course, our offer is just a suggestion to get your bike into excellent condition.<br><br>We're always happy to adjust it for you or advise you accordingly.<br><br>Best regards, Jakob from bikepick

Everything was conveniently bookable online. Time slots and live tracking for pickup/delivery worked perfectly. The repair was of high quality. They even called to confirm that a part I had suggested for replacement was still good – very customer-friendly.

I'm thrilled! You get a pickup appointment within two days (you can track it live), the next business day I received an offer (which you can accept with one click), and two days later my bike was delivered, freshly serviced and repaired. Absolutely stress-free, very friendly service, great value for money, absolutely top-notch!
