I absolutely cannot recommend this shop! They charge exorbitant prices that end up being higher than initially calculated, and the staff are incredibly unfriendly. I've now paid €100 for a repair and still have a bicycle that's not rideable.

Dear Ms. Daniel,<br><br>Unfortunately, what you're claiming here isn't entirely true!<br><br>I already told you when you picked up the bicycle that the gears were defective and therefore couldn't be adjusted. You didn't believe me, and that's just how it is. I even ordered and fitted a new tire for you! I even called you again to say that your headset bearings had excessive play, and you wanted them adjusted. I always told you what everything cost, and that's how it is! I also told you again that your front brake wasn't working, and since you didn't want to spend any money, I unfortunately couldn't help you. I told you that if you weren't willing to have your bike professionally repaired, you should perhaps consider buying a new one!

I didn't really want to share my experience here because I initially thought it was an isolated incident. But after reading the other reviews, it seems to be more of a pattern. In any case, my experience was abysmal: I only needed the bike chain replaced. After ordering the wrong one myself, I thought: I'd better leave it to the professionals. So I did – supposedly a quick job. Unfortunately, the chain was installed completely incorrectly (past the frame) and produced an impressive racket while riding. So, back to the shop. The employee was less than pleased, quickly became aggressive, and also had a large dog with him, so I had to get backup. When I pointed this out, he simply said the chain couldn't be installed any other way, "otherwise the mechanism won't work." After several hours of discussion, and only after the owner arrived, did it turn out that the chain was also too long. The technician's comment: "What? I took it off the shelf!" That was the last straw for me. I demanded my €80 back and went to another store – where, incidentally, the chain was fitted correctly without any problems.

If you have been treated unfairly by any of our staff or by me, the owner, you are welcome to come to our store anytime and we can discuss everything, but I am unaware of the incident you described.

Stay away from this shop! I absolutely cannot recommend this bike shop. I was initially quoted a price, which was then significantly higher after the work was completed – without any prior agreement or justifiable explanation. When I confronted the employee about it, he immediately became loud, dismissive, and aggressive. I felt extremely uncomfortable at that moment and simply paid. Furthermore, I was given incorrect information about the parts used. According to my own research, the actual prices of the parts are about three times lower than what I was charged. I insisted on a cost breakdown or a proper invoice, but to no avail – they only accept cash and offer absolutely no transparency. The overall behavior was incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful, and untrustworthy. I strongly advise everyone: stay away from this shop – you'll be ripped off and treated badly!

Dear Mr. Armin,<br><br>We are a specialist shop, not an online retailer. Our prices are the standard manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). Before every repair, we give the customer an approximate price, which is usually honored. And every customer receives an invoice. I believe you've mistakenly gone to the wrong store.

Unfortunately, several parts of my bike were broken, but I didn't want to replace it with a new one because it's very dear to me. I received very competent and understandable advice on the repair. The work was carried out exactly according to my wishes. Everything went smoothly, and I'm very satisfied with the result. I can definitely recommend the shop. Great 👍

A terrible experience! They charged €50 for a flat tire, but instead of replacing the inner tube, they only did a makeshift repair. Two days later, it was flat again. They refused to fix it properly and only offered to do it for another fee, of course without an invoice or receipt. Absolutely unprofessional and not recommended! Update: Yesterday, they fixed it for another €20. The bike hasn't been used since and was flat again this morning.

Dear Mr. Werner, a repair on the rear wheel costs €50, depending on the bike. Patching is even more time-consuming than just replacing the tube! If the tube isn't in stock, we might patch it to get you back on the road as quickly as possible! There's no guarantee for air pressure, whether it's a patch or a new tube! If you bring the bike to us with air and ride it for 2-3 days, we can't be held responsible! Besides, €50 is a reasonable price for Maxvorstadt! We provide a repair receipt for every job; you just have to take it with you, but in this case, it wouldn't have helped you, as, as mentioned, we don't offer a guarantee for air pressure!<br><br>Best regards,<br>Rad Rebell

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this bike shop. The expert advice that I believe is the main reason to visit a specialist shop was completely lacking, and the employee/owner's demeanor was utterly unprofessional. It seemed as if I was unwelcome, as if they were simply turning their attention to the plastic-bottled beers they had bought across the street.

Top bicycle workshop – absolutely recommended! I am super satisfied with the service in this workshop. The employees are competent, friendly and take the time to explain everything in detail. My bike was finished quicker than expected and now runs like new again - gears, brakes, everything adjusted perfectly. The price-performance ratio is also just right here. You can tell that the work here is done with passion and expertise. I'll definitely come back if something happens!
