Too bad, it's currently out of service. Update 8/27: The bike shower is working again. Everything worked perfectly. One star deducted because the wash cycles are a bit too short. Otherwise, the price-performance ratio is okay. Overall, it's wonderful to have such a practical bike shower nearby. 😃

Super practical, unfortunately the chain breasts didn't work during my visit.

Positive: Good idea and execution; the bike comes out clean after washing; free tire inflation; compressed air is also included for drying the chain. Negative: Expensive if you plan to use it frequently; only two locations in Munich; chain cleaning and lubrication are unnecessary; the brushes are too soft, and the time is too short to really get the chain clean. Recommendation: An option for €5 including water and cleaner, compressed air for drying, and more visible locations.

I went to the Gasteig with my son today and we both cleaned our bikes. It worked perfectly as long as you follow the instructions exactly. I also thought €8 per wash was a fair price. It's great that it works for children's bikes too, and that the kids can do it themselves. A fantastic idea and excellent execution! I'd love to see more of this.

Hmm...it didn't make me happy. I thought it would be like the kind of bike wash I know from competitors. Bike in, start the wash – bike out clean. Not so. You put the bike in the holder and then have to clean it yourself. It's not a big deal, really – there's a strong jet of water, bubbles, air, and even oil. But: the time allotted for the cheaper option isn't enough, in my opinion. Or rather: the detergent is so sticky that it takes quite a while to rinse it off completely. I didn't quite manage it. I found that unpleasant. And: the bike is – of course – soaking wet after cleaning. But there's no way to dry it. No rag or anything. You have to bring your own. Reading the tip in the app or on the website would definitely have helped. Instead, you end up with a dripping wet chain that you then have to oil. I should have skipped that step – but my "grab-it-all" mentality compelled me to take the oil I'd already paid for. ;-) The device dispenses far too much oil. And there was no rag included to wipe off the excess. So I rode off again with a wet bike, sticky with foam, and a completely oiled chain. Not exactly fun... the old method (bucket, brush, rag) works better in the yard – and it's cheaper too.

A great way to really clean and maintain your bike. Only the old location would be better in my opinion.

Practical and easy to use. It's a shame there's only one station. Personally, I find the price of €8 for a standard wash quite high compared to the price of a regular car wash.
