Super friendly and honest. He originally recommend a different place due to the type of repair but was able to perfect the repair. Much better experience than any other bike mechanic in Munich

I did a couple of major and minor repairs at Solo Bici and were totally happy every time. The owner (unfortunately don’t know his name) gives good advices along with thorough and attentive service 🚲 You can also buy spares and accessories directly in the repair shop Great work 💪🌲🚲

Ae delivered the bike for a general repair to be able to use it and it was not fit to drive it. Defective steering wheel neck and bent seat without having called before and see a solution to get it in optimal condition to be able to drive. Unfriendly when I explained the problem
Owner's response
Hi Gerald Plucinski,
a woman dropped off a yellow Peugeot mountain bike at my shop.

She said she found the bike and needed it made roadworthy on behalf of an acquaintance. After a quick inspection, I noticed, among other things, the open quick-release lever on the seat tube. I then checked the seatpost and found it was tight. I closed the lever and informed the woman, who nevertheless gave me the service order. She had brought tires and tubes with her, and after I explained that I run a retail business and make my living from sales, I agreed to install them. I replaced worn parts, adjusted the brakes and gears, trued the wheels, adjusted all bearings, and checked all screw connections.

I mounted the tires she brought with tubes from my stock.

The bike was ready for pickup.

Then you came to pick it up with someone. After a short time, you said that you couldn't ride the bike with that saddle height and weren't willing to pay. I replied that I had completed the job and wanted to be paid for my work and materials. I suggested calling the guild to find out how to handle such a situation, which was new to me. Since you didn't respond to that, I decided to be accommodating and only charge for a minor inspection. The bike was perfectly rideable.

The seatpost wasn't bent, and the stem bolt was tightened.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I'll work to ensure this doesn't happen again.

Solo.Bici

The owner (I guess) is always nicely friendly and very helpful, even when he's having a break or just about to close the shop in the evening. I've been in many bike shops in Haidhausen area in these 20 years and I am so glad that I finally found the place I would really enjoy coming for professional advices and service.

Highly recommend this shop. I had some issues with my front derailleur on the Bianchi and they fixed it up within 2 hours. Service is great, staff is super friendly. Please keep it up.

I would highly recommend this bike shop, friendly staff and very quick service. I had two road bikes for tune up there. The price was fair, and not only did Fabi a great job, but he also was done within hours, so you won't miss any weekend rides, because your bike is in service - never have seen such a quick service. Fabi also offered a free adjustment of my drop bars.

These guys are the real deal. Their selection of vintage steel bicycles is unparalleled. Their service is quick and friendly. Most importantly, they make a damn fine espresso. If you are already an avid cyclist or just starting out, your first stop has got to be Bici Bavarese. Their two shops are seeped in bike culture. It doesn't get any better than this.

I made contact with these guys online about a very rare bike they had. They were very helpful and done a super job of packing the bike for it to be posted over to me in Ireland. I would highly recommend these guys, very friendly staff and easy to deal with.

Super friendly and outgoing staff, who are always helpful and willing to offer test-rides or technical advice. More than that, we love the regular evenings rides to the South of Munich with this bunch of fun people.
