Nothing but the highest praise for the ski boot fitting I had done here by Jasper. He was friendly and extremely competent, taking time to listen to my feedback on the different boots I tried and always finding a solution. I was able to walk out and your later with a perfectly fitting pair of boots. Thank you Jasper!

I am absolutely shocked by Sport Bittl’s lack of accountability. I bought a brand new pair of skis, and the binding ripped out after only 3 days on the slopes. This is a major safety failure that could have resulted in a serious injury. Fortunately, I wasn't hurt, but the situation could have been much worse. I am now seriously questioning if the bindings were even mounted correctly in their workshop.... I buy a new pair of skis every year and have shopped skis at Sport Bittle three times before, but the customer service is non-existent. When I contacted them, they dismissed this as "normal wear and tear." I had this exact same issue with skis from Sport Conrad in the past, and they handled it professionally and replaced them immediately. Sport Bittl, however, refuses to stand by their products or their workmanship. If you value your safety and your money, stay away. Before to spend 3% more for quality work. This was my last purchase here.

The webshop is ok and the price for the product was good. Delivery via GLS was a disaster. They''re not even trying to deliver the package to the home address, they send it right away to the parcel shop on the other side of the town. Stop using GLS for delivery to Austria!

On January 8 I visited Bittl after doing some research online, signing up for extra discounts (10 up to 15% for new clients) and a €10,- coupon for signing up for the newsletter. I tested all coupons by entering them at check out (all good so far) Then I visited the beautiful store with easy parking garage next door to pick the boots, a helmet, ski goggles, a bag for my boots and ski socks. The different departments were friendly but it was little confusing that for big ticket items they don't show prices (but luckily I knew exactly what I wanted). Then I go to the checkout... a younger guy (who seemed new / inexperienced) and a shorter blond older lady who acted "superior as if she knows everything". First she tells my coupons were only valid online…. I say “OK, then I order everything online and pick it up in store”. Then she tells me my coupons were not valid for discounted items… but I also had items that were not discounted plus my coupons worked online on the so called “discounted items”. Long story short: these people did not deserve my money. So I thanked them and left everything on the counter and I went to another store….The rude, customer unfriendly behavior costed them almost EUR 700,- in sales, but they didn’t seem to care. Before writing this review I shared my experience first with Bittl CS to see if and or how they would react (and if it might be an incident) but also the CS Team didn’t bother to reply to me. I ended up buying my socks, gloves and helmet at Decathlon (great Customer Service! Just sign up for their program) and my boots I bought at a Intersport store in Austria with a friendly owner who appreciated my business and gave me a discount of “3 days ski rental”. So in the end I am happy how things worked out but I will NEVER EVER return to their store or website. Kundennummer : 2304818

Honestly don't bother. The staff are extremely unfriendly and not helpful at all. The lines for simply asking an easy question is long for no good reason. Overall its just poorly managed. They need general staff and then expert staff because unless you are there for a fitting, you are not getting a quick answer. I also needed to have my DIN settings machine tested and they told me it will take 7 days... WHATTTT for a 10min job? Anyway... I took my stuff to Decathlon and got all done in 15min and the staff at Decathlon was extremely friendly and helpful. Just take your business to places that actually care.

The equipment quality was fine, but the staff did not listen to my needs. I am size 44, yet they set me up with a wide and very soft board and large bindings that did not fit after trying them once. One of the main employees also made a very offensive comment, asking why I was cheap and saying that as a Jew I have money. This behavior was unacceptable and made the experience very uncomfortable.

Special thanks to Jesper from the boots department for being patient, to Felix from the ski & binding department for showing extra care and wrapping my gear in protective plastic (which he fetched from somewhere - obviously beyond his scope of responsibilities), and to Mr. M from the apparel department for having me try 5 pairs of pants until I found my perfect pair (Matthias may be his name, I may be wrong though...)

I bought a Scott Addict Gravel 30 bike at Sport-Bittl, where I was assisted by Kevin – the bike department manager. Kevin was very kind to reserve the bike for me two days before the purchase. Most importantly, he and the service team were incredibly helpful and professional: they removed the front wheel, securely packed it for transport, and carefully protected the carbon frame as well. That meant a lot to me, as I specifically drove through Munich to test the bike in two different sizes and take the right one back with me to Poland by car. The entire purchase process was smooth, professional, and straightforward. Huge thanks to the whole Sport-Bittl team – I definitely recommend shopping at this store. Once again, thank you, Kevin!

I bought these skis 2 weeks ago and have used them for 3 days. I came to the shop because the edge has split open in several places and they say they can't do anything, not even repair them. very disappointed I’ll never buy here again.

Owner's response

Dear Pol, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are very sorry to hear about the issue with your skis and that you felt let down by our service — this is absolutely not the experience we want our customers to have. How did the damage occur? Why can't we do anything about it? Was a reason given? We hope we can convince you of our service once again. Your Sport Bittl team.
