Unfortunately, not a good experience. Lots of half-baked knowledge and no useful information. I took my splitboard to a service center. The worst and most expensive service I've ever had. They used a lot of misinformation about splitboards and charged extra for everything. Unfortunately, the shop has outdated equipment and experience (see products with old logos). In this case, I can't recommend them, at least not for higher-level sports. They might be suitable for children's sports or casual hobbies.

Hi Jonas, we're sorry you weren't satisfied with the service.<br><br>The situation is that you're complaining about a service that was performed almost a year ago. Disputing the price after a year, especially when it was communicated before the service began, is very unusual.<br><br>Our partner ski and snowboard workshop has been working with the utmost diligence and top-of-the-line machines and equipment for decades, as has been confirmed to us countless times over the years. We're very sorry that this didn't meet your expectations.<br><br>And of course, we also apologize that we're not a trendy, cool snowboard shop with the latest logos and decor.<br><br>But we've been striving for decades, and continue to strive, to offer our customers the best possible service.<br><br>Most of our customers are happy to still have a brick-and-mortar shop in the area that even offers this kind of service.<br><br>Nevertheless, thank you for taking the time to review us.<br><br><br>And of course, we apologize for not being a trendy, cool snowboard shop with the latest logos and decor.

A small, well-stocked sporting goods store with a good selection and a superbly knowledgeable owner who provides comprehensive, helpful, and competent advice and takes plenty of time to answer all questions. I was very satisfied and can highly recommend this store. Anyone looking to buy sporting goods in Neuhausen will find this a great place to go.
Owner's response
Thank you so much! :o) , for the kind review and positive feedback!<br>...

The shop looks a bit chaotic, but the owner has everything under control. He also provides competent and friendly advice on various topics. I can't understand the negative comments about the prices in other reviews at all. This is exactly how you build a loyal customer base and not leave everything to the internet. Keep it up!
Owner's response
Thank you! ;o) Best regards, Sport Eibl :o)

The boss was very friendly, but with a standard request—mounting the bindings from one ski to another—they identified so many problems beforehand that I had to take my skis back. Warranty, drilling templates, liability... all very complicated, and since I didn't buy the skis from him, it would have been very expensive. The term "ski service" is misplaced here. I drove across town for nothing. Sport Stahl on Landsberger Street was able to help without any problems at a fraction of the price.
Owner's response
Hello Daniel, I'm very sorry that you weren't satisfied with our service.<br><br>For over 60 years, we have strived to meet our customers' needs to the best of our ability.<br><br>However, we consider it our duty to prioritize our customers' safety above all else.<br><br>If a binding is no longer within the safety-relevant age range, or if proper mounting is not ensured, which requires the presence of a metal drilling jig, we reserve the right not to adjust or mount the binding.<br><br>Regarding the drilling jig issue, as I've tried to explain, it stems from the fact that over the decades there have been so many different jigs (manufacturers and models) (the hole pattern often varies), and our partner service workshop specializes in providing perfect service for skis and snowboards. Mounting is an additional service that we are happy to provide for our customers if needed. (Including loosening screws, as in their case, because they are stuck or spinning freely.)<br><br>And a follow-up question should have been asked to assure them that the binding was of a certain age and that the drilling template was available.<br><br>And when they mentioned knowing a workshop that had already mounted this binding, I even recommended that they have it mounted there for the simplest solution, as they would certainly have the drilling template and I hope they wouldn't be using a paper template.<br><br>Furthermore, I hope that the colleague recommended that they check the binding's functionality.<br><br>Unfortunately, the law states that in the event of an accident, the installer is also liable, just like you.<br><br>"The practice of a sport inherently dangerous, in which one endangers oneself and others, requires technically sound equipment." That's the general legal principle!<br><br><br>``` As I said, "Safety first!"<br><br>P.S.:<br><br>- "Drawn all over town," they told me something different! ;o)<br><br>- "A fraction of the price," we hadn't even discussed a price yet, only the feasibility and the fact that colleagues often charge a very high price for mounting new skis if they were purchased online and not from them.<br><br>However, since we haven't sold skis, ski bindings, or ski boots in our shop for over 20 years, that wasn't a reason for me to recommend mounting them at our colleague Stahl Sport Fahrrad, or even to try and sell us new bindings.<br><br>Best regards, Sport Eibl, and have a great ski season! :o)

It might be a bit more expensive than online, but the service and advice are first-class. I've bought hiking and walking shoes, socks, and other accessories there several times. The owner is always friendly, helpful, and very forthcoming with information.
Owner's response
Thank you very much, Stefan. And we're pleased that you were satisfied with our service and advice. See you next time. Best regards, Sport Eibl
