Excellent service, fair pricing and professional appraisal, not the stinky attitude that some people give me I think because I am a woman and I have a shit bike. I trust the guy with my bike and if I have kids I will also trust him with my kids‘ bikes.

I am so incredibly happy to have found this bike repair shop. I had previously bought a bike from Jobbike Loop (never again!) and came to Mr. Auch with a flat tire. He quickly realized that the bike hadn't been repaired at all and, without any benefit to him, recommended that I make a warranty claim before attempting any repairs. During the subsequent, ongoing discussions and disputes with Jobbike Loop, Mr. Auch provided me with advice and a cost estimate – and I was able to leave my bike with him for several weeks. At every stage, I was very grateful to have such a competent person on my side, someone who also made a real effort to give the most neutral and balanced advice possible. Mr. Auch was a complete godsend – without him, I probably would have been stuck with the entire bill. With his help, I was able to get a large portion of the costs reimbursed by Jobbike Loop. I can wholeheartedly recommend this shop! If I could give more stars, I would! From now on, he's my absolute go-to bike shop!

Original review from 2016: Very unfriendly. Did not want to help even with a very simple repair on a bike not purchased from his shop. I am not sure where the word "service" in the shop's name originate from. Edit on Nov 13, 2021 (following Mr. Auch's response): I went to your shop to simply put automatic pedals on my bike. You asked me: "You bought your bike on the internet?". After I answered in the affirmative, you added: "Then go find someone from the internet to fix your bike, we don't do that here!".

If the minimum standards for the quality of the bike or its individual parts are not met, or if there is a guarantee work that the seller of the bike would have to carry out, then we unfortunately have to reject this customer request. I was charged 9 Euros for 10 seconds of work, what other bike shops do it for free. Later I was refunded half of that.

This schedule sometimes takes into account the need for special tools, as was the case with your work. Unfortunately, you also failed to consider that the work involved is not just the labor itself; there is much more to it, which you also have to pay for when you use a service provider. Perhaps you would like to reconsider your review and also take into account that we informed you of the cost before we even started the work, without asking. Was looking for some parts (rim tape, handlegrips, Brooks proofide) for routine maintenance of my bike and was very happy to find these and more in the shop. There was a short wait as they were quite busy on Saturday afternoon but this is not their fault, rather a sign of their quality. It gave me time to inspect the beautiful bikes on display in the store. When it was my turn, I was helped quickly by a knowledgeable mechanic who provided all of the parts I needed within 2 minutes and was very helpful. I will definitely come back the next time I need any parts or service.

Cool bikes and beautiful shop. But when I asked to repair a broken shifter - they said it would take up to 2 hours and each hour would cost around 30 euro. Well, in the other shop it got fixed in 3 min and for way less money.

Dear Google User, This review was published on Google more than a month after the customer contact due to the Corona crisis. We are therefore addressing it as best we can. The customer came to us with a broken and frayed cable in his Shimano road bike shifter/brake lever and wanted it removed and replaced. We were fully booked with other appointments at the time. Since the customer was passing through and didn't want to wait, he went to another bike shop after we gave him a quick estimate. They were able to remove the old shifter cable without any problems, which was fortunate for him. We understand that it's hard to comprehend when he received a significantly higher estimate for this job and then sees that the work was done in 3 minutes. Anyone who has ever tried to remove a broken shift cable from a Shimano road bike brake/shift lever knows that these levers cannot be opened, meaning the job can take a very long time, or in the worst-case scenario, the old cable might not come out at all. This would then mean the brake/shift lever would have to be replaced. When giving a customer a quote, it's only fair to point out such complications and tell them the cost.
