I leased my first bike via Jobrad from Rabe Bike Oberhaching and was shocked by the service. The staff appeared reluctant to assist me. A phone holder I bought the day I got the bike broke after one day and the bike had another issue I reported that was brushed off. After ignored emails, I was insulted by one of their employees in person when I returned but to be fair they did replace the phone holder. As someone new to cycling, I chose a local bike shop so I could ask questions and get advice—but I would have been better off ordering from an online shop and figuring it out myself. A really disappointing experience.

Very bizarre customer service here, first they were very helpful and enthusiastic to place the order hence the two stars. However the delivery time was indicated as two weeks even online delivery was 5 days, but that is not a big deal especially if they want to be realistic. Though I would expect from any business to reach to their customer if they cannot held the committed delivery date. Here they simply leave you wondering in limbo. What is bizarre, I tried to follow-up couple of days after that promised delivery date because I need to plan my holiday with the bike, yet they choose to simply ignore my message without even a boo. Now I understand that I'm one of hundreds of other customers but still a customer nevertheless. That does not strike a confidence in them, if they ignore their customers when they are in purchase phase, then what would happen if we would have warrantee claim or service request in the future? Its really a pity as I was looking forward to try this 6K€ bike and also get one for my wife in near future.

Very good guidance and help from 3 staff members at the RABE Bike dealer in Muenchen-Oberhaching. Good choice of bikes, and knowledgable staff. It was very busy in the shop, so having a few extra staff may help.

Before and during purchase of a bike it was a perfect experience that I can recommend. Quality of bike assembly is fine - few looser bolts, short FD cable length... Up until this point I would give RABE 4 stars. Why I am giving only 2 stars is the aftersale communication and support. After experiencing issues with rattling internal cables the first day I got my bike, I received a one single inadequate reply after a week of waiting and sending multiple emails without receiving any answer on the follow-up email. Once you buy the bike and you are not from around the place I guarantee you - You are pretty much on your own.

An unwelcoming and cold service from the front desk staff member that wasn’t interested at all. But the work done from the mechanics on my bike was good, very efficient and the price was decent too.

DO NOT come here to have your dtSwiss wheels fixed. They say they know how to do it but just no, the work was lousy, overpriced and the guy didn’t really seem to be interested at all. Plus when I asked if I can use the floor pump another guy rolled his eyes as if I was asking to get a free beer. Just skip this place if you hold your racing bike dear. Cheers

Dear Marek. Thank you for your report which is very very unfair. Yes, we fixed your wheels. We never sold them to you so we had no obligation at all to repair them. We are always extremely busy with service work for the bikes of our customers, but we were just trying to help you anyway. Yes we charged you for that, because nobody in this world works for nothing. Just because you think a shop should work for nothing, you are now misusing social media to discredit us.<br>This is extremely unfair and absolutely no help in our effort to motivate the mechanics to be friendly and helpful. Good mechanics are very hard to find and people like you with your attitude will make it even more difficult for other people to find helpful service in this world.

This monday, I was looking for a Kalkhoff Endeavour Lite in Upper Franconia. I could not find any shop, even in shops that sell only Kalkhoff bikes. So, I started looking into the Internet. You guys had the cheapest offer. So, I ordered it since I knew I could try it out and still send it back if I would not like it. Ordered on Monday shortly before 3 p.m., it did arrive 48 h later. With the very helpful video link, it was pretty easy to construct the bike Since then, I rode my bike every day, at least 25 km per day. I am definitely not going to send it back :) Instead, I am going to buy my daughter a new RABE bike, too. She cannot follow me anymore. Her bike's too small. I can and will recommend the online shop to anybody who loves to bicycle :)

I am very happy with the service that RABE Bike has given me. I found them by chance when I was looking for a good but cheap MTB and found a Trek 4700 (2013) for only 499Euro including free shipping to Denmark... Who can argue with such price and free shipping on top of that.... Unfurtunately I missed out on ordering a few more parts togher with the bike, so I wrote to RABE Bike to see whether they could add it to the order, but that was not possible due to the system. Instead they offered to send me a voucher to cover the shipping cost for the second order which is just as good. Bottomline. Very attractive pricing and very good service so I can only recommend others to make use their service.

Sorry to write this comment in English but I've only been leaving in Germany for 2 weeks and my German skills are still quite weak to write in order to be 100% understood. I bought a Road bike there and a couple of other accessories in the past 2 weeks as I am just living down the road from the Shop. Atmosphere in the shop is great, team is super Pro, choice is wide, prices are good, service is quick and powerful... a 5 stars to be highly recommended bike shop! Personal note: A very special dedicate to Torsten I've been in contact with each time I went there, to me he is the 5 stars seller in the shop, super sympathetic, extra wide knowledge of the bike universe, etc... Rabe bike, definitely a place to go for any of your needs concerning the bike world...
