A nicely furnished shop with a wood-burning stove... But woe betide you if something goes wrong with your Orbea during the warranty period: my front derailleur stopped working in cold temperatures (I'd only owned the bike for six months). The bike was accepted for repair, but I was told I'd have to pay for it myself because Orbea has "poor warranty service." Apparently, as a bike salesman, I've seen all sorts of things customers do to their bikes (in other words: "It's probably your own fault, idiot!"). The customer was quite surprised... But lo and behold: the problem was "professionally" fixed with de-icer from a door lock. Summer arrives, temperatures rise – the front derailleur fails; you can see the trouble coming: winter is just around the corner, and the derailleur breaks down again. To cut a long story short: a new bike shop replaced the entire shift cable, including the internal housing, and now I can finally ride my bike even in sub-zero temperatures! Orbea simply delivered a defective bike. These things happen, and of course, Radsport Wolf can't be held responsible. But the way they handled the situation is unacceptable. I could have pursued it with a lawyer, etc. But honestly, I was too annoyed, and now the bike has cost me an extra €200. In that spirit: Never again!
Owner's response
Hi Michi, thanks for your honest review. And no, you didn't need a lawyer. Even though no one can say how water got into your train, we fixed the problem so everything was working properly again. So, everything was fine initially. If the problem recurred a year later, you could, of course, have come back and we would have fixed it. If using de-icer on the door lock didn't provide a lasting solution, we would have replaced the train. Naturally, without a lawyer. Parts and labor are, of course, covered by us or Orbea. Only in the unlikely event that Orbea rejects the warranty claim would the customer have to pay for the work themselves. But in your case, you could have saved yourself the €200, and we could have avoided a bad review. Please contact us. Then you will most likely receive a refund of the €200 from Orbea or from us.

Best regards from Team Wolf

That's exactly how it should be... Friendly and competent with a great selection... They just need to work on the coffee :-)
Owner's response
We're cycling pros, not baristas. But you're absolutely right. "Bike" and "coffee" are becoming increasingly intertwined. Perhaps we'll soon invest in a beautiful Italian espresso machine and then achieve top performance in that area too 😉

Last week, I received excellent advice here about my next road bike. The measurements and information, even afterward by phone, went really well. Anyone who buys a bike gets their fitting included, as well as all the other parts that go into a complete bike: pedals, bottle cages, etc. Excellent advice, local, and a great place to start for an Orbea, Basso, or, of course, Stevens.

Unfortunately, I received completely incorrect advice at this store; the bike I ordered was definitely too small. The manager, Dirk, was unwilling to refund me the purchase price of the bike. I even had to pay an additional €450. I'm very disappointed and frustrated. I would advise anyone not to buy anything from this store. Thank you for your reply, but I would like to emphasize again that, despite its dimensions, the bike is definitely too small for me, as I keep hitting my knee on the front bar when I get off. They could at least be a bit more lenient with the surcharge. After all, the bike is still new.
Owner's response
Hello Birgit, we are very sorry that you are not satisfied with your bike. However, we would like to point out that this bike was definitely NOT too small. We even took extensive measurements of you in our lab. The bike corresponds to your physique in all parameters and exactly to Stevens' specifications for your height and inseam. You chose this step-through city bike and placed a binding order. Since we don't stock this model, we ordered it specially for you from the manufacturer. We then modified the bike according to your wishes (e.g., with different tires), and you took it home and rode it.

Then you wanted to return it. Although we are not legally obligated to do so, we accepted the return, albeit with a deduction. In fairness, we can only sell this bike to another customer at a discount, as it is no longer a new bike. We refunded you the majority of your money. We would have preferred it if you hadn't returned the bike. But what wouldn't we do for satisfied customers? We hope you've found a bike you're happy with by now.
...

The advice I received beforehand about the bike was very good, which is why I decided to buy it. The measurements at the Bike Lab, along with the subsequent size recommendation, were detailed and very helpful. A free initial service rounded off the package. This service, however, turned out to be a disappointment. The hoods and saddle were completely misaligned afterward. The handlebar tape is coming off in several places after less than 500km. The gears aren't working perfectly. That simply shouldn't be the case with a bike that costs over $5,000.
Owner's response
Hello Alex, thanks for your review. That's no problem at all. Your hoods and saddle are now adjusted to their "optimal" setting. Of course, this setting still might not suit you. But that's not a problem at all. We adjust these components until they're right. Sometimes it just takes a while. Just come back. The gears sometimes adjust slightly at first. That's okay and completely normal. We'll be happy to adjust the gears for you free of charge. Handlebar tape isn't actually included in the warranty, but it only costs a few euros. We'll find a solution that we can all live with.

Excellent service! I leased a gravel bike through Fahrradleasing at Radsport Wolf. First, I was measured and given advice to find the perfect fit. Signing the lease agreement was quick and easy. After signing the contract, I wanted to change to a different color, which was no problem at all. Highly recommended!

Very fast and not expensive repair of my bicycle. They have just replaced back wheel, but it feels like a new bicycle now, brakes work like in F1 car.
