I can wholeheartedly recommend The Flemish Cap to anyone. Klaus and his team take care of every bike promptly and professionally. The gears on my Canyon road bike needed adjusting, and after contacting Canyon, they referred me to Klaus. He immediately tried to help and offered that I could come by right away. Even without a car, the shop was easily accessible by S-Bahn (suburban train). You can tell that Klaus is a passionate road cyclist himself, and the bikes are treated accordingly. Many thanks for the excellent service!

I had my Canyon bike repaired at Fleisch Cap under warranty and I'm extremely satisfied. Klaus and his colleague are highly professional and also very friendly. I come from Munich, so it's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it. I've rarely received such personal and friendly service. Thank you!

I own a Canyon Pathlite 6. It had a lateral runout in the disc brake (it wobbled and rubbed against the pads while riding). Canyon sent me new parts and recommended having the brake replaced at a service partner, along with a wheel check (warranty service). I looked for a service partner on the manufacturer's website and found this company. A quick phone call and an email with the invoice, and Mr. Müller and I scheduled an appointment. Everything went very smoothly. Excellent communication! He noticed right away that my saddle was incorrectly adjusted and corrected it, along with two other minor adjustments, after the service was completed. He proactively showed and explained each step to me in detail and gave me valuable tips. You couldn't ask for more transparency. We also talked about bike fitting. He showed and explained the system and how it works. I found the topic very interesting, as I ride many kilometers daily and hope to avoid some minor aches and pains in the future. The ride home after the service was a dream. My backside didn't hurt anymore, the gears shifted smoothly again, my wheel finally had no resistance, and the brakes felt safe and responsive once more. I'm really happy now :-). Mr. Müller is incredibly friendly, dedicated, customer-oriented, and knows his stuff. You can feel his passion and enthusiasm for what he does. Unfortunately, people like him are rare these days, and they're worth their weight in gold to me! Thank you so much!

I brought my Canyon Torque (MTB full suspension) here hoping they could fix some play in the bushings on the main bearing. Initially, I was optimistic because I clearly demonstrated the play by handing the bike to the owner and showing him how to lift it to feel the play. I also provided a new set of Canyon main bearings (main bearing kit) so they could be replaced at the same time. To make a long story short: after nine weeks and several inquiries, I was finally able to pick up the bike, only to discover upon first handling it that the play was still there. While all the bearings had been replaced, that wasn't the reason for my visit. I simply cannot accept the owner's claim that I only provided the bearings and not the bushings as parts, especially coming from an official Canyon service partner. That's not my responsibility as a customer unless we had discussed it beforehand. To be fair, the owner must have recognized that the customer's request couldn't be fulfilled, and we were able to reach an agreement regarding the effort that was nevertheless not wasted. Reply to the owner's reply: Thank you for all the information. It would have been helpful if I had received this information during my waiting period or at the beginning. Openness and transparency make for better collaboration.

Owner's response

Dear Ms. Geier (Polchow), after you took the time to write such a detailed review, I would of course like to respond. You brought your bike to us so you could resell it used. You gave us the new bearings for the rear suspension to install. In addition to the necessary cleaning, we adjusted the rear brake and gears – a total of 3.5 hours of work. As requested, we confirmed on the invoice that the bike was fully functional after the new bearings were installed. We even gave you a 50% discount on the actual work done. Replacing the bushings wasn't necessary in our opinion and would have increased the work even further. I'm somewhat surprised that you've written such a review several weeks after picking up the bike and our agreed-upon concession. Regarding the nine weeks: Our mechanic had to take a few months off work due to shoulder surgery in the winter and wasn't yet able to return to full-time work as part of his reintegration. We currently have an average of 12-20 Canyon bikes on board, which we are processing as quickly as possible.

Anyone who enjoys working with blowhards is in good hands here. "Trust me and we'll get it done" are two of the castles in the air being communicated here. This "company's" qualities lie more in their ability to badmouth the competition (appointment scheduling and duration) and then not being able to do it themselves without wanting to. Regardless of why this workshop is certified for CANYON bikes, anyone who carries their bike to Koblenz barefoot with athlete's foot is better off. The reaction to this recession shows me that everyone else is to blame, of course, and how dare I criticize someone who should have simply said "unfortunately, we can't afford it right now." As I said, it was all a castle in the air in the beginning. P.S.: Best wishes to professionalism when it comes along ;-)

Owner's response

With this comment, you've unfortunately disqualified yourself, dear Mr. Walker. It's a real shame. We really tried to solve the complex technical problem with your Canyon Precede 9 (no communication between the Enviolo automatic hub and the Bosch e-bike system). This requires spare parts and support from the suppliers, which is anything but easy in our industry these days—and not just seasonally. We'll now bring this to a professional conclusion.

I bought a bike from Canyon. Unfortunately, it arrived with a defective suspension fork. As a Canyon partner, The Flemish Cap took care of the problem. From the very beginning, the service and communication were excellent. I'm 100% satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend The Flemish Cap.

Owner's response

Thank you so much 😉👍

I went there to buy a specific Wilier bike. Klaus (the owner) took plenty of time and gave me excellent advice. The visit was enjoyable from the start, and I felt very well taken care of. The bike was only available in size L. Klaus might have been able to convince me to get a larger size. On my second visit, he offered me a bike fitting to ensure the frame size was correct. Unfortunately, the fitting revealed that the frame was a bit too small. Sadly, I couldn't buy it and had to cancel my order with Klaus. Now that's what I call professional, high-quality service. It would be great if there were more dealers like him. I'll gladly come back next time.

Owner's response

Thank you so much 😊 it was and is a matter of honor for us.

I had a flat tire and they helped me immediately, and at a great price, too. I can absolutely recommend this shop.

We set off from Starnberg today when, just before Tutzing, our front tire suddenly went flat. By chance, we stumbled upon this shop. A suitable inner tube was immediately available, and they offered to repair it right away. We gladly accepted. After 15 minutes, we were able to continue our ride and cycle around the lake. Many thanks for this excellent service!

Owner's response

Thank you so much, we were happy to do it 👍

I had a vision to do bike tour in the famous Starnberg see area, to see lake and mountain, i went to The Flemish Cap in my Lederhosen and could train inside with Tacx-system and "Rent and ride the Tiger bike", This made my dream come true with help from kind herr Müller who show me track with view on Zugspitze and learn me the important signal system that biker use to have a safe group training.
