Very good service!!! Fast, competent, and honest! Unfortunately, I had a breakdown with my bike. I had a problem with my 3-speed Torpedo (now Sram) hub gear. First, I called Fahrradreparatur Lang. The small, one-man workshop is right around the corner from us. Mr. Lange only told me that the gears were so old that they couldn't replace them anymore, and I could just throw them away. The solution would be a conversion to the latest gear system for a few hundred euros. By chance, I was just around the corner from Lobetaler Upcycle with my broken bike. So I went there. And we received immediate, free help. Everything went smoothly. So, the gear repair wasn't that hopeless! Highly recommended!

A wonderful facility where people with disabilities are given the opportunity to shape their everyday lives and do something good. We donated two bicycles there. They are being refurbished and resold. The proceeds go to the Lobetal community. A great idea

We needed to get my wife's bicycle roadworthy for our holiday at short notice and received prompt, competent assistance. We are extremely satisfied and very grateful! Top-notch!

I've brought my bike to the workshop for upcycling twice now and I'm very happy! This time it was a 45-year-old Dutch bike that had been in my family. It's amazing how they find a solution even for parts that aren't standardized, nor are they manufactured today! Thank you so much!

Never mind. They gave us an accurate estimate of €39, but then the final bill skyrocketed to well over €150. Sure, they can do that, but it's not exactly ethical and feels like a complete rip-off. Up until now, this place was our insider tip, and not just because we bought a bike there – the upcycling concept itself is great... What a shame. Now we're moving on. There are other bike shops here in Bernau. I would have liked to stay a customer, but I've just learned that things don't always stay as great as they start out.
