I was completely satisfied with every visit 🙂 I received sensible and honest buying advice that wasn't aimed at selling me the most expensive option, but rather at meeting my needs with maximum reliability and the best comfort. Due to my voluminous, shapely, apple-like physique, we opted for a sturdy frame that can carry me through the demanding Christmas feasts for years to come 😄 I always received immediate help with minor issues – and even when it wasn't possible, as a customer, you have to be understanding. And if I'd received good advice when buying a bike, I probably wouldn't have a fragile chain, but rather one of those great V-belt-like rubber ones… just like me 😄 It's a bit of a letdown to only give two stars despite offering a compromise… but nobody has as little time as Reiner. I was actually a bit shocked by the price when my saddle started to give out… But we found a reasonable solution there too. If necessary, you can buy cheap saddles on Amazon (cheap) and, with Prime (expensive), glue or solder them on yourself the next day – all without having to pay for trained professionals. Respect to those who do it themselves. There are people with time… and people with money. If you customize your ride yourself… you don't appreciate quality. That mostly rhymed, so it's protected by artistic license, and I'm not trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. Quality has its price, and you should be prepared to pay a fair price for well-executed craftsmanship. You learn that at the latest… well, once you've learned something 😉 Your own mistakes don't count. Best regards from Goodyear Quality Control Test passed – 5/5, keep it up!

60 km from home, a stick suddenly broke a link in my bike chain during a ride. For a specialist shop, this would normally be a 15-30 minute job to replace. But those guys had no time and no spare link either; bike ride over.

Hello,

Yesterday we offered you the option of leaving your bicycle with us so we could repair it the same day. Since the necessary chain link was only in stock at our other branch, it wasn't a matter of 15-30 minutes...as you yourself pointed out, you could also take the train home to Spandau, so in the end that was the simpler solution rather than having to wait a long time for a repair. It's a shame that this unfortunate incident has now led to a review that doesn't even begin to reflect our actual service.

We still wish you safe travels.

The Fahrrad Füchse Team

I can recommend this shop in every way. They helped me with my broken e-bike *quickly*. Now I can still do a few rides on vacation. Thank you very much.

The headlight broke after 200 km, and the warranty was completely ignored. Their prices are outrageous; €30 for a brake pad is unacceptable, sorry, and I'm not the only one! It's a shame about the staff, as they are genuinely nice. I've been a customer for a very long time, and it's sad to see the boss driving away customers. Best of luck! Addendum: Their goodwill doesn't justify the rip-off. The claim that the brake pad cost €28 is a blatant lie; I saw what it actually cost! Lying doesn't make it any better... I've been repairing my bike myself for almost a year now, and I haven't even paid a fraction of what I've spent with them in a year. These exorbitant prices aren't justified for anything except their own wallets and their own well-being. Regarding the tuning issue, publicly accusing me of a crime after the fact is more than questionable and certainly doesn't improve their reputation. Feel free to report me, and I'll voluntarily have my bike inspected, but after that, I'll file a serious complaint for such a blatant lie. Repair your bikes yourselves; it's not that complicated, and YouTube can help in a pinch... It's only two bikes, not four. The motto is: Respect to those who do it themselves.

Hello, we know this is a personal experience, but this review is unjustified. We were happy to do the following things beforehand: provide courtesy cars (free of charge), carry out minor repairs immediately, even without an appointment, install parts ordered online in our workshop, clear engine fault codes on customer vehicles free of charge (RRP: €30), offer professional advice, and take the time for thorough research. There are good and very good brake pads. We recommend the very good brake pads (€28.50) to customers who drive a lot and intensively, which was the case for you. It's no longer possible to make a warranty claim for a bulb after the light cable has been soldered. We also do not perform repairs on vehicles that are illegally modified to exceed 25 km/h using a chip. In such a case, we could report the vehicle owner to the police. We won't tolerate such negative reviews, especially since we were genuinely very courteous and accommodating in this instance. We are always very generous with our service and find it regrettable that such reviews, born out of frustration, reflect our true colors in no way.

Addendum: It's great that young people today are interested in bicycle technology and learn to carry out minor repairs themselves. However, we won't let a sulky 16-year-old badmouth us online and in public like this. Enough is enough. We wish you continued success and advise you to simply consult another specialist retailer if you encounter more serious problems. Readers of this review can then decide for themselves what to make of it.

Hello! I picked up my new bike from Füchse last week. We had discussed my options beforehand. I received friendly service, and they were very knowledgeable and took their time with me. I thought that was fantastic, since bikes can cost a small fortune these days. It might have been cheaper online, but buying in-store guarantees great support! I've been a customer of Füchse for many years, and they have my complete trust! This certainly won't be my last purchase there! Thank you all, and I look forward to continuing our excellent and trusting partnership! 🤜🤛✌️

The light broke after 195 km. No external cause. Warranty claim? Nope. Payment demanded... and this on a €2,000 bicycle. Sure, why not. That's not what I call service. Sorry.
