The store was no longer there. According to a passerby, it's supposedly closed. Unfortunately, there's no mention of it on the website, but the voicemail at the phone number listed there is still active.

Even one star is too much! Warning! Scam! I ordered online from the shop and paid via Klarna. Then I received an email stating that the product was no longer available. They then told me to cancel the order with Klarna, which I did. Klarna then forwarded the order to Kajakguru, who rejected it. In the end, I received two payment reminders and was forced to pay, otherwise they threatened to send a debt collector. They haven't responded to my emails. Beware of this online shop!!!!

Warning! Giving a gift voucher, e.g., for stand-up paddleboarding, is strongly discouraged! Due to illness, we were unable to redeem our voucher in the year it was purchased. As a precaution, we requested an extension in good time, which was "generously" granted for three months, until mid-June of the following year. Since SUP is difficult during the winter months, we effectively had about 2.5 months to redeem it. A further extension of a mere two weeks (!) was unfortunately not possible. Question: Why??? Especially since there is a legal validity period of three years, which can only be shortened for compelling reasons. During opening hours, no employee was ever available at the harbor. Our attempts to speak with them in person to clarify the situation were repeatedly and categorically refused. The manager was dismissive, rude, and insulting in phone calls and emails. Conclusion: Kajakguru Hennigsdorf is definitely not worth recommending – even one star is too many, and unfortunately, negative stars cannot be given.

Unfortunately, my experience with the retailer was an absolute disaster. After several weeks of delivery delays due to the retailer's fault, I canceled the order. Despite repeated requests in writing and by phone, the refund of the transferred amount was consistently ignored. Fortunately, it was finally possible to get it back through a complex chargeback process with MasterCard (a quarter of a year after the cancellation!). The retailer didn't even respond to MasterCard's request. Absolutely unprofessional behavior. In all attempts to communicate, the issue was avoided, if they even received a response at all. With such amounts, I would think twice about entrusting my money to such a retailer in the future.

I held off for a long time, hoping the situation would resolve itself. But regardless of whether you receive advice or not, the boats (which are quite nice and affordable, even available in special colors) listed as "immediately available" in the shop can't actually be delivered. There's been no communication, and I've been waiting for my refund for 13 weeks now. I could share my email history if you like ;) Apparently, some manufacturers have ended their partnership with Kayakguru due to similar cases. Buy elsewhere.

We booked our trip in November at short notice. We received confirmation, etc. When we arrived, all the gates were closed, and there was no one there. I then called the phone number. I was told that our booking hadn't been taken seriously enough. We had to sort everything out ourselves. We were expected to open the gate ourselves. There was no proper briefing either. We were told to find our life jackets, lift the canoe into the water ourselves, etc. The same thing happened when we returned with the canoe. I then requested a partial refund of the €50 we had paid, since we had to do everything ourselves. I received no response through any of the communication channels. A very unpleasant experience for my family, and poor communication. A real shame.

I called on Monday and received excellent advice right away. I bought the Expedition in HV and it arrived on Friday. A fantastic boat and everything went perfectly! The shipping company was absolutely top-notch too! Thank you so much, I'd gladly use your services again! Best regards from Upper Franconia! 😊👍

Despite paying via instant bank transfer, the delivery unfortunately wasn't complete until two weeks later, including missing items and having to pick up the kayak ourselves from the shipping company's depot, as otherwise it would have taken even longer. This is disappointing, as they advertise a 4-day delivery time. I didn't receive an order confirmation automatically. I downloaded the invoice from the shop afterward. Due to the missing items that had to be delivered and the delayed delivery, I'm deducting one star. The telephone contact was very friendly, and we're enjoying the boat. Best of luck, and thank you!

I never write reviews, but... With this great shop, I can't help it. I bought the Natseq, along with a full carbon paddle, steering system, and a spray deck. Basically everything that goes with it. I ordered it online AND I was able to pick it up THE SAME DAY. I was blown away. My head was like, "Mhm, what a great boat, but that Kayakguru backrest on site looked fantastic." I ordered it and it was clear, come on, we have it. A few days later, my girlfriend also started to want to go paddling, so I ordered the tandem center section on a Saturday night and promptly had a nice phone call the next day with, I think, the boss's wife. "Hey, we saw your name in the orders. Patrick (I think that's the boss's name) is in stock today, SUNDAY, so if you want, you can pick it up." THAT'S SERVICE. So I bought the tandem part again, the blanket, the paddle, and the backrest, and immediately enjoyed a wonderful evening of paddling, all in a boat that fits in the car. A nice, great conversation, I was given important tips, among other things, and showed how to best Tetris the boat into the trunk, and they're always willing to listen to help and advice. I'm thrilled with the shop and recommend that anyone considering buying a kayak contact the Kajakguru team.
