Weiter so!

Some time ago, I bought an e-bike for quite a bit of money. I sold my car and have since been happily relying on my bike every day. And at some point, the bike needs to go to the repair shop... . With Mr. Butzke, it goes like this: Butzke: What's the problem? Then I can order these parts for you. Me: Don't I also need this and that? Him: No, not necessary, it's still working. So, point 1: Here, there's no attempt to sell you something you don't need. Butzke: If I order it tomorrow morning, it will be here on such-and-such a date, then I'll install it right away and you can pick up the bike. I'll call you when the parts arrive, then I can give you an exact price. He calls on the day that was announced and tells me the price of the parts: 97 euros. Me: So, with labor... will it be more than 200 euros? He said, "No, not more than 200." Shortly after the conversation, I was annoyed with myself; now it'll probably be 199 euros, my statement must have seemed like a free pass. Then: He calls when everything is ready—on the agreed-upon day. I pick up the bike, and he explains a few things. Price: Not 199.99, as I feared, but 169 euros. Hence point 2: Aside from his competence, absolute transparency, speed, reliability, and friendliness, Mr. Butzke is completely fair. I've never felt treated so fairly at any other bike shop. No rip-off, no empty promises, nothing like that: just good work. And not to forget: The bike rides like new again. So, if you're still looking for a bike mechanic, your search ends with Mr. Butzke.

I can only confirm b.'s review. We've been customers for years. If something can't be repaired or isn't worth it, he'll tell you. There are some things he simply won't do, for example, for safety reasons. He explicitly doesn't recommend anything he doesn't think is advisable. Prices are transparent, he always takes down your phone number, and he keeps appointments. You can pretty much always drop by spontaneously and get your bike back the same day 99.9% of the time. I'm completely satisfied; you hardly ever find service like this anymore. Good to know: no card payments.

I arrived with a flat tire and was able to continue my journey after 45 minutes with a working bike. I was very happy about that. Good service and helpful advice. Thank you!

Hello, I rely on my e-bike daily and had a broken spoke on the rear wheel. It was repaired immediately and the rim was trued. After about an hour, I was back in the saddle. Thanks again!

I've been going to Butzke my entire life. Competent and to the point. His rough manner sometimes comes across as a little harsh, but he means well. He only does the bare minimum, without any extra fuss. Prices are reasonable and not too expensive. Great shop!

They were already abrupt and unfriendly on the phone. They were just as unfriendly on-site. They dismissed our problem with "it's not possible" without explaining the reasons. I will never visit this workshop again.

Mr. Butzke is very friendly and competent. He only sells and repairs what is truly necessary, not what brings in more money. For example, he repeatedly advised me against replacing wear parts (chain, tire, etc.) because they were still functional. It couldn't be better.

A very peculiar understanding of "service." The customer (!) is expected to analyze and precisely describe the problem before even coming in. After a phone call, my wife went there and was then subjected to inappropriate accusations. I don't expect "stupid come-ons" or statements like "no one's going to pay me for that" from a "repair service." Customers are happy to pay for good service – the provider alone is responsible for inadequate billing. My initial dismay after the phone call was sadly confirmed by my wife's personal encounter: unfriendly, inappropriate, and completely lacking in any sense of customer service. We went there because of the positive reviews. However, our experience was so disappointing that we're looking for someone else who, instead of complaining about the work involved, simply does it properly and will gladly be paid fairly for it.

Excellent advice, the purchase was completely problem-free. The dealer is extremely knowledgeable. We've been there before for repairs. Very fast and reasonably priced. We can only recommend him, and we're happy to have someone like him locally.
