I dropped off my well-used gravel bike here, initially wanting to have the bottom bracket checked and possibly replaced. During the process, they also discovered that the headset was completely worn out. It's simply amazing that this was identified so thoroughly and communicated so transparently. At my request, they then upgraded the groupset from a mechanical Rival to Force AXS. The result: simply perfect. Everything runs buttery smooth, is perfectly adjusted, and freshly greased – you can immediately tell that they work with care and expertise. Especially positive: fair prices, honest advice, and truly impeccable workmanship. I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely be back. Highly recommended! 🚴♂️ Cheers!

Highly recommended dealer for bicycles, MX, and enduro sports, including accessories! I've been a customer of this very friendly family business for years, and during my time in enduro, I've always received the best service and sales support! I'd like to give a special shout-out to the very accommodating handling of a technical issue with my e-MTB, thanks to a dedicated personal follow-up with the manufacturer. That's fair customer service! Many thanks to your team at Matze! 🙏👍

Hello, unfortunately my request for a repair was ignored. I was told from the beginning it might take some time, but unfortunately it wasn't repaired at all. Every week I was told I could pick it up at the end of the week. Sadly, to no avail... It's a shame, but I can only advise against having anything done here!

Hello,

Thank you for your message and feedback.

It's always frustrating when something doesn't go as planned, and we understand your disappointment. Unfortunately, the workshop doesn't have much capacity during peak season, so we can't offer any firm pick-up dates.

Best regards, Judith from 2Rad-Spies
...

We were passing through in our motorhome when the wheel sensor signal on my Wallis e-MTB failed. Even though Zweirad Spies was at full capacity, they took pity on me and repaired my bike perfectly within the course of the same day. All I can say is, thumbs up and thank you so much!!!!!!

I bought an e-bike here and received excellent advice. I was even able to test ride several bikes before making my decision. The owner was very patient with me. Thank you! Marita from Bischofswerda

I've been there twice now with my bike, and the last time was a week ago, and the repair still isn't working. I'm going to try and find the problem myself. It'll probably take longer than they did, but that's okay, and I'll save myself the money. They charge a fortune every time, and the problem is still there – it's unacceptable. They just do work I didn't even ask for, and they completely ignore what I'm supposed to do. And if you say anything, they get rude, which is absolutely unacceptable. That's a surefire way to drive customers away.

Unfortunately, I can only advise against buying anything from this seller. I purchased a road bike from their online shop. What arrived showed clear signs of use and/or assembly. I suspect it was a demo bike from the store. The tires already had cracks in the sidewalls, the front tire wouldn't hold air, the saddle was scratched on the side, the fork was scraped over a length of 20 cm, and the front rim was also scuffed. And the whole bike was covered in dust. It was wrapped in bubble wrap from an exhaust manufacturer. I only received a response after my second email. They claimed they were unaware of the defects but offered me the option of returning the bike, without any further explanation. I'm still waiting for the two inner tubes and tires that were promised to be sent to me. I cannot recommend this seller, who doesn't seem to know the condition of the goods they ship, and I hope other customers aren't treated this way.

The price-performance ratio and advice are excellent. I've had my KTM SX-F 350 repaired here twice already and have been satisfied. The problems were diagnosed quickly, and any additional issues were only addressed after consultation. They make a very professional impression.

As long as everything works out and you buy and pay properly, everything's fine. You just shouldn't insist on your rights as a buyer and demand a refund, because then communication deteriorates, the tone becomes more unfriendly, and the money only comes back under threat of legal action. Rating: Not recommended!!! Answer: Applicable German law, not your area of expertise, is it? You are obligated to the person who owns the purchased item and the invoice, whether they are your direct customer or not. But let's leave that aside for now.... What's much more interesting is that you had a repair approved by the customer carried out under the warranty, and not a free repair!!! This repair was in no way satisfactory, as the damaged material was still broken in the same place and not in another place!!! There was never any mention of the purchase price being refunded to me, but rather that it should be reimbursed. In case of emergency, track down the correspondence if it still exists. But well, that shows how you communicate with customers... Neither I nor the actual buyer will be buying from you again.
Owner's response
Hello Frank Kuhle, we are unfortunately unable to understand your review. You did not purchase an item from us, but rather received one as a gift from a customer. The purchase took place on May 26, 2016. On July 6, 2016, you informed us that a seam on the collar of the item was coming undone. We responded immediately on July 6 and offered you a free repair by the Ortema service center (which you initially declined, and you also did not want an exchange). The item was repaired free of charge by the Ortema service center in the east and returned to you on July 11, 2016. One day later, on July 12, 2016, you informed us that the item now had a hole in a different location. We informed you that we would first need to consult with Ortema to clarify this. This unfortunately took some time. Since you were not the original purchaser of the item, we cannot refund you, but only the actual purchaser. As a gesture of goodwill, a credit note was issued to the customer for the full purchase price, and the amount was refunded after the credit note was processed!
