I used to like the shop, but the service has deteriorated significantly. I dropped off a bicycle for repair. I was told I would receive a call the next day informing me of the necessary repairs. Since the call never came, I contacted them three days later. The response I received was that they hadn't even looked at it, and the whole thing was delivered in a rather rude tone. That was the last time I'll be going there.

Our neighbor's child's bike seat was stolen (yes, there are strange people who steal seats from children's bikes), and a few small parts were also broken. Ultimately, all that was missing was a seat post when I entered the store (initially without the bike in question). After a brief consultation, I picked up the bike, and a store employee found a suitable seat post in the range, which he immediately installed along with the saddle. He also adjusted the tire pressure. And all this for a completely fair price. We will gladly return with our bikes, as both the advice and the practical implementation were excellent.

100% competence, 100% service, 100% friendliness! Even though I've moved (and now live quite far away), Fahrrad Laurisch remains my go-to shop. Such a combination of competence and friendliness is rare. I always enjoy coming back!

Incredibly poor service. I came in with a minor problem, and instead of fixing it, I was told it wasn't worth repairing. Phrases like "it's no longer available" or "no one makes it anymore" seem to be standard practice at this shop.

Dear Ms. Arndt, if a repair, for example due to a faulty gear system, is very complex and expensive, especially since many bicycles from hardware stores/supermarkets are very cheap and the materials are difficult to obtain, and a two-year warranty seems excessive, then we'd rather avoid them. We don't want to get rich off cheap bicycles and recurring problems. This was just meant kindly. Best regards

There were only two employees in the entire shop, and I was told they were too busy and didn't have the time (or inclination). After asking several times, I was told to buy a new bike because no one would repair my four-year-old Kalkhoff bicycle. The staff were completely incompetent, and I definitely cannot recommend this bike shop.

Dear Mr. King, we do indeed receive a lot of maintenance work in the winter, as the bicycles are constantly in use during the summer. And I cannot confirm your suggestion that the guys are unwilling to work on the bikes. You need to listen to the guys when they say they're avoiding Kalkhoff due to bad experiences. Sometimes you have to say no. Not having to accept every job isn't worth one star. Kind regards

I ordered an air filter online. After a week, the package was reported to the post office, but after another five days, it still hadn't arrived. Fourteen days for an air filter! Terrible, never again.
