Always these helicopter parents at night, occupying parking spaces in residential areas with SUVs or other cars.

The trial lesson was free and the two children (4.5 and 8 years old) enjoyed it very much. They have been going to dance lessons every week ever since. The teachers are friendly and dedicated. Everything was also perfectly organized.

I still can't do a split, but that would be anatomically odd anyway. I always felt well looked after. P.S. The pink tutu suited me exceptionally well, if I may say so.

I can only say that this is about more than just dancing. From a young age, you can pursue a passion here, make friends, and sometimes simply find support. For many, it has become a second home and a piece of a fantasy world that is conveyed in every class. Even if you're not a born natural talent, you'll be encouraged here, and everyone is truly passionate about what they do. New ideas are constantly bubbling up from Marita and her team, and that's what keeps the studio vibrant. I myself started even before the official ballet studio existed... in 1988 at the Karl Marx Works, and with the fall of the Berlin Wall, Marita realized a dream. I can wholeheartedly recommend that everyone go dancing there.

The Erxleben Dance Academy brings together a wide variety of dance styles and people who all share a passion for dancing. Here, I can try things out, develop myself, or simply forget about everyday life. The studio is simply a part of me and my life. It's not just the teachers that make the studio special; it's the environment itself that makes it so special. This is my dance family.

I've been dancing ballet at the dance academy for 15 years—my second home. The school offers a wide variety of dance styles. It challenges and encourages me at the same time. This has helped me develop both as a dancer and personally. The fact that the school was and is there for us despite the coronavirus pandemic is fantastic! I'm looking forward to many more years and summer fairytales.

We quickly got an appointment for a trial dance class, but were disappointed with the quality of the training. It was more like a gym class than a dance class, and to top it off, the teacher arrived over 10 minutes late without a word of apology and didn't even introduce himself. A shame. We decided against that dance school.

The director yelled at my six-year-old so much after the performance that she sat on the stage crying during the final applause and never wanted to dance again – until today! I'm now at the factory with the little one. It's very nice there.

The selection of classes is large, and the instructors seem motivated and competent. However, a major drawback is that the children are constantly reprimanded harshly, told they absolutely must not enter the gym until the instructor is present. Even when the hallway is extremely crowded, parents are present and supervising, and the room is open, the children are not allowed to go in a few minutes before class to warm up. Rules are all well and good, but this was so frustrating that we finally cancelled our membership.

I've been training at this studio since 2006 and I have to say: it's like my second home. Over the years I've learned so much here, not just about dance but also about myself. I love the many opportunities I've been given here and I look forward to new and exciting projects every year.
