Sorry for the late review! I highly recommend this store! I remember that it was May 2024, and I was riding in Bremen and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the city. When I returned to the hotel at night, I suddenly found that my chain had fallen off, and I didn't know how to restore it correctly. At that time, I was very anxious, worried that my wonderful travel life would be suddenly ruined. The next day, I wandered around various bicycle repair shops with a nervous mood. Many of them said that I would have to wait for several weeks, or even one or two months to make an appointment for repairs. At that time, I was ashamed. But fortunately, I met this store. The staff here are warm and hospitable. Not long after I finished talking about the problem, they solved my problem smoothly at once, and even helped to tighten some parts that I had loosened. When I said I wanted to pay more money, they said it was a piece of cake! They also gave me a lot of advice on bicycle repair. At that time, I was really moved, and my depressed mood was released all of a sudden! This incident is still fresh in my memory today, and I feel deeply warm! It's a pity that I don't live in Bremen, otherwise I would have fixed all the other problems of the bike in this shop! I highly recommend it! If I have the chance, I will visit again!

I recently had an accident where a spoke came loose, requiring a new inner tube and truing of the front wheel. After being turned down by many other shops, conRAD helped me immediately and repaired everything the same day. Super friendly staff – I'll definitely be back!

Good advice at moderate prices, and every single product is properly priced thanks to VAT, so the government can take its cut. Of course, the business can't do anything about that, and skilled workers should be paid. If you just need a bike quickly, you might be more satisfied with another shop, but you won't be happier in the long run. It's best to buy a decent lock right away, too. Not a €2 lock. You might as well wrap that in gift paper for the next thief.

I've taken my bike to conRAD for repairs several times and I'm very satisfied. You should make an appointment in advance, but once you have one, everything runs very quickly and smoothly. I also appreciate that while they suggest additional repair options (bell, mudguards, etc.), they don't pressure you into anything extra. The prices aren't low, but everything is itemized on the invoice, so you can easily understand the costs. This also gives you the feeling that you're receiving excellent service and that the employees are paid fairly.

If you're looking for good advice with a focus on cargo or recumbent bikes, this is the place to go. The workshop is also excellent. However, you'll need to be prepared for the ride; even with an appointment for a service, it takes over 30 minutes to drop off the bike. The friendliness of the salespeople and mechanics could also be improved. All in all, though, the quality and service are excellent, and that's the most important thing to me.

We've noted the part about friendliness. It might have gotten lost in the shuffle.<br><br>We try to manage the crowds somewhat by scheduling appointments, but when everyone shows up at once... The advantage of an appointment is that the issue is then dealt with at the scheduled time. Without an appointment, the bike sits in the queue during the summer.<br><br>Does anyone have any good ideas on how to prevent the place from suddenly becoming packed for short periods, as if everyone had arranged to meet up? These are customers who come to buy things, after all. They don't have appointments.<br><br>This issue is important to us!

This shop is definitely the best in town. I bought an old bike when I arrived to Bremen and I took it to two different bike shops to fix it but they didn't manage the problem, and the fixing only worked for a few weeks. I came to Conrad later following the recommendation of a friend and they did wonders with my old bike. I now feel I'm riding on a cloud. They also treated me very well and they speak excellent English (which didn't happen in the other shops) Also, they have so many beautiful things for the bike that I bought several accessories in the store. Totally recommended, excellent service.
