Warranty is a legally enshrined right that a buyer of goods or services is entitled to if they are defective. The seller is obligated to deliver flawless goods. If a defect appears, the buyer can demand subsequent performance (repair or replacement) or, if this is not possible, withdraw from the contract or reduce the purchase price. In Germany, the statutory warranty period is generally two years from the date of delivery. Difference to a guarantee: Warranty is a statutory right, while a guarantee can be a voluntary service offered by the manufacturer or seller. Warranty refers to defects that were already present at the time of delivery. A guarantee can extend beyond the warranty period and include additional services or conditions. Key points regarding warranty: Burden of proof: Within the first 12 months of the warranty period, it is presumed that the defect was already present at the time of delivery. After this period, the buyer must prove that the defect existed at the time of delivery. Notification of Defects: The buyer should notify the seller of the defect as soon as possible after its discovery and set a reasonable deadline for subsequent performance. Subsequent Performance: The seller has the right to remedy the defect, either by repair or replacement. The buyer generally has the choice of which type of subsequent performance they prefer, but the seller may refuse if it is unreasonable or impossible. Withdrawal from the Contract or Price Reduction: If subsequent performance fails or the seller refuses to provide it, the buyer may withdraw from the contract and demand a refund of the purchase price or a price reduction.

We bought a bicycle trailer here that appeared to be fully functional, and we were told it had been completely refurbished. The next day, however, we discovered that the wheels were warped and the front wheel constantly pulled to the left when we pushed it. The right wheel rattled and rattled. So we went back and explained that we wanted to return the trailer because it simply wasn't roadworthy. They said no, that wasn't possible because the monthly billing was already complete. We even offered to deduct €9 from the purchase price, but this was refused. Then another "employee" intervened, displaying such unfriendly and rude behavior that I could only roll my eyes. The owner's behavior was also appalling. We were practically thrown out. I absolutely cannot recommend this workshop. They sell complete junk as good, and you can't find any help there. You buy something "used" and think, "Okay, great, it's safe because it's been completely refurbished," but... well, you get what you pay for. The cake is simply awful. The staff should pay much more attention to courtesy; after all, these kinds of workshops depend on us customers!

It was a fully functional, used bicycle trailer, which, of course, with only one front wheel, doesn't feel as stable as a stroller.<br><br>If you want a stable combination trailer for jogging, you will probably have to buy a trailer from Thule or Qeridoo. We cater to customers with a limited budget, who are generally very happy with our products.<br><br>However, we would like to add that the "egg" was a very slight wobble, which we corrected immediately. The trailer never pulled to the left, which your husband also confirmed.<br><br>Our facility is not a bicycle shop, but a self-help bicycle workshop run by an employment agency for the long-term unemployed. Our employees also refurbish bicycles for the local community and sell them for a small price. Therefore, we do not buy or trade in bicycles. This is a private sale without warranty.<br><br>However, if you had discovered a defect on your way home that same day, which we had overlooked, we would have been able to reverse the purchase. As it stands, the receipt has already been processed, and no further "goodwill" is possible.<br><br>Otherwise, the principle of "sold as seen" applies here as well! Once a bicycle leaves our premises, we can no longer verify whether a customer, for example, rode over a curb or a piece of broken glass.<br><br>Our staff are always happy to assist with any defects. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts and the resulting reduction in staff, we are no longer able to offer as much assistance as we would like.

Unfortunately, it's clear they don't value customer service and have little desire to work... A workshop like this is actually a great idea, what a shame!

Excellent equipment and tools. Many people mistake this workshop for a traditional one. This is a self-service workshop, so you should be able to help yourself. Friendly and always very helpful staff! Highly recommended :)

Totally unfriendly and, above all, unprofessional staff! You definitely shouldn't buy anything there if you want a decent and functioning bicycle.

Beware! These are not professional bicycle mechanics, but rather amateurs with insufficient knowledge. Bicycles for sale are refurbished with used parts (such as defective inner tubes) and then sold to customers. As a result, the bicycle develops multiple problems after less than a week. When I tried to report this, I was loudly accused of being at fault. I would advise everyone to go elsewhere!

I was made aware of the workshop by a passerby who saw me pushing my car down L-R-Allee with a flat tire. A nice, well-equipped workshop with super friendly and helpful staff!
