Unfortunately, I can't agree with the positive reviews. Although one of the two people I spoke to was quite nice. I wanted the old chain on my bike (the bike is only three weeks old) replaced with a waxed chain. They quoted me €20 for it. When I picked it up, they told me the chain they'd fitted was rubbish and that most customers were exchanging it. The result: the new chain is long, and the derailleur is misaligned. A disappointing outcome.

And this is what the not-so-"free," "friendly," "honest" "service" from the "friendly employee," which was supposedly "inexpensive," really looks like: - A few clicks online for non-existent (allegedly obsolete!!) spare parts would certainly have saved the "repair" of other parts that were perfectly fine. - Despite being explicitly not requested, the front wheel was replaced; however, the details I had specified were ignored. I think something's amiss, see below. - The result was an unsaid repair price of around 440 euros (sic!). For that price, you can get a decent new bike. Oh, and the gears are sticking. The chain getting jammed between the smallest sprocket and the frame is also a new issue and something I didn't order. => Recommendation: Always get written confirmation of any repairs beforehand! => PS, Recommendation: It was actually possible to find a bike shop in Bremen that's "just as good"... After the other bike shop in this part of town left a sour taste in my mouth several times (grumpy owner/bad service/impolite) I decided to go the extra hundred meters to this place. I was surprised to be greeted with a big hello and a warm smile! The man listened to me and didn’t make me feel like a fool (the guys at the other place do this very well). The service was quick and thorough and inexpensive. Never going to the other place again. Well done Fahrrad Station Neustadt - due to your excellent customer service you definitely have a new customer (well, technically 4 new customers 😉)
