Sometimes a bike inspection feels like a quick pit stop in Formula 1: drop it off, get it checked, and off you go. In my case, it felt more like a bike parked in a parallel universe. I dropped my bike off for inspection. Right at the start, I was told that the staff couldn't access the JobRad portal and therefore couldn't see my data. Nevertheless, they accepted the bike and told me that the inspection might take a few days longer if spare parts needed to be ordered. So far, so good. After about a week, I called myself to check on the status. The answer: they still couldn't access the portal due to technical problems. What really bothered me was that no one had informed me about this. A few days later, the shop finally got back to me and said that the parts had now been ordered and they could begin. Naturally, I wondered why they hadn't ordered them earlier to save time. Unfortunately, the explanation wasn't very convincing. A few days later, I called again to ask if my bike was finally ready. The employee said, "Yes, it's ready, and you've been informed." But I hadn't received any notification. So, after work, I went to pick up my bike—only to find that it hadn't been touched at all. Another employee then explained that his colleague must have made a mistake. To be honest, at that point, my patience ran out. I canceled the service and took my bike back. Mistakes can happen anywhere—no problem. But a lack of communication, incorrect information, and two weeks of downtime for a service is just too much. It's a shame; I would have much preferred to have my bike repaired rather than parked. 🚲

Abysmal Year-End Service I cycle to work every day. For a change, my leased, fair-weather e-bike was due for its annual inspection. The plan, which I made perfectly clear to the colleague at the service desk, was to haul the bike from the suburbs at 10:00 AM on December 29, 2025, and drag it back to the workshop the same day. There was only one other bike in the workshop area, and I estimated that resetting the service indicator, adjusting the belt, and checking the brakes and gears would take a maximum of one hour – ideal conditions for the job. So far, so good. However, no one had contacted me on the two phone numbers I had left on Wednesday. So, quite calmly, I picked up the phone at 10:00 AM the next day. No answer. After several attempts and two hours later, an employee finally took pity on me and answered my call. Today the shop was closed for inventory, and with New Year's Eve tomorrow, it looked like it would be the same, so the earliest I could get back to them was January 2nd, 2026: "My colleagues will get in touch with you!" I immediately wondered why the colleague at the application desk hadn't mentioned the changed opening hours. Of course, I would have taken the bike back and stopped by my good friend's bike shop, Zweirad Lindenhof. An hour and a coffee later, I'd be back on the road. They're not a Lease a Bike partner, but whatever, the important thing is it's done. Today is Saturday, and the shop in Huchting is already closed. As expected, I haven't received any contact or confirmation of completion. I'm back at work on Monday, which makes the still-pending bike handover considerably more complicated. We'll see. But one thing I can say with absolute certainty about using their services again: "Never ever again!"

Excellent service I visited ePedalice on Kirchhuchtinger Landstraße in the summer (June/July 2025) and would finally like to submit my promised review. I would especially like to highlight the service provided by the saleswoman. She went to great lengths to help me, was incredibly friendly and patient. I was able to test several e-bikes extensively, which is not something you can take for granted. I told the saleswoman frankly at the time: Even if I ended up choosing a different bike from another store, you would definitely get a top rating from me because the service was simply outstanding. And that's exactly what happened – I did buy my bike elsewhere, but the service here was by far the best I experienced during my search. Anyone looking for honest and customer-oriented advice will find exactly what they need at ePedalice in Bremen. Thank you again for the fantastic support!

Unfortunately they currently do not repair any bikes unless they were previously bought there.
