On my way home, the belt on my e-bike broke. When I dropped off the bike with the replacement part, they said it would only take a few days. After a month, the owner simply took the bike and supposedly "repaired" it over the next two months. However, after only 200 meters, the cable broke because the washer hadn't been properly attached. The entire electrical system and the motor then had to be rewired at another shop... The shop turned out to be a complete disaster, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. After this experience, even one star is too generous!

Reopened 😍 First point of contact was sent to Stadler and boc last week, only to return home with even less expertise and the comment "Amazon"...

Hey everyone! I had the brakes and gears checked (shift cable)... but the last gear still won't engage! I think they unnecessarily changed the brake pads even though they only had about 100km on them (they were just low on oil). The guys at the shop are nice and in good spirits. Conclusion: room for improvement! Still won't be coming back. 🥲 Cheers, Tobi

Unfortunately, it's now closed, and the search for a reliable repair service continues. Should the shop reopen (which doesn't look like it will), the score will be adjusted. Previous review: Neustadtrad belongs to "Der Velo Meister," which also has locations in other parts of town. I only came here after I think I'd tried all the established bike shops in the surrounding area (I've lived in Neustadt for over a decade) with various bikes from the entire family. I came straight away with a special case, which I also referred to. I've been going there a few times over the past few months (again with various bikes and little problems), and the guys there never tire of helping me. And they did it without grumbling, making rude comments, trying to force repairs on me, or anything else. What's more, they always offered me the cheapest solution and gave me the choice of whether I wanted it done. I was a bit concerned about the "chain" and the fact that the service would suffer as a result. But not at all. As a non-bike fanatic, I'm often laughed at with my rather colorful, average bike and my old, rusty cargo bike. Not here. Just honest chat about what's available and what's possible. When my bike is ready, I get a text message. That's great! I don't think it's the right place for people who like to spend hours in shops bragging about their bikes and cycling knowledge—although that's certainly possible—but for everyone else, this is a decent bike shop. I'd be happy to come back.

My chain broke on my way home from work. Fifteen minutes before closing time, the employee replaced it for me at a fair price. Excellent!

The bike shop did a great job. They repaired the gears, something another shop hadn't been able to do. They also installed the 'FollowMe' tandem system for a fair price. I especially appreciate that they're always willing to take another look at things if you're not 100% satisfied—free of charge, of course. Highly recommended!

Really good workshop. I got a inspection done for my relatively old bike. After the inspection the bike feels so much better really good service. The price is also very reasonable. They took a couple of days longer than they promised but I wasnt in a rush and I am very happy with the service

Much love for this workshop. This was my second time there with my bike for a minor issue, which I was worried might be something more serious. Both times, my concerns were put to rest in a very friendly yet professional manner. The problems were fixed, and I wasn't even charged – though I hope the coffee fund appreciates a small donation. Thank you so much for the helpful advice :)

I dropped off my e-bike here for a service because it's so close to me. The team is incredibly friendly and makes you feel well taken care of. The price for the service was more than fair and completely satisfactory. I was able to pick it up again the very next day, and they even did more than I had requested, all without charging extra. I can't say the same for some other bike shops. I'll definitely be coming here again in the future and highly recommend them!
