A few weeks ago, I went to the bike shop to ask why my chain kept coming off when I was coasting. The man there told me to just bring the bike in. I went today to find out what was wrong. The mechanic was incredibly rude and turned me away, saying he didn't carry that particular e-bike and I had to go back to where I bought it. It's just the chain, nothing else. The shop was so unfriendly, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Outrageous!

I needed a new chain for our e-bike on a Saturday because the old one was sagging and didn't fit properly when I tried to shorten it. Since the bike absolutely had to be working again by Monday, I went to this bike shop to buy a suitable chain. I explained the problem, but received no advice whatsoever. I was just met with blank stares. After mentioning that I needed a chain for my e-bike with an internal gear hub, they handed me a KMC e1 chain, which was much too long. This chain costs around €18-25 online. Unfortunately, I only checked this at home. In the shop, I was charged €39.99 for it. I would understand if they had charged me €30, but double that price! In my opinion, this is neither customer-friendly nor service-oriented. I know that quality has its price, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case at the Hausschild service counter in Neu Wulmstorf. What a shame.

I bought a gravel bike from Hauschild and received excellent advice. The salesperson was incredibly attentive, addressed all my requests, and we were even able to negotiate a good price without any problems. The bike was fully assembled and ready just 12 hours later. Even the often-criticized workshop service was top-notch in my experience: fast, friendly, and reliable. Highly recommended!

I dropped off my bicycle at this company for its regular JobRad inspection. Upon collection, I was charged an additional amount. While I was informed beforehand that there might be costs, there was no clear information about which specific services these extra charges covered. This lack of transparency is questionable. The listed items, including a test ride and a difference in price compared to the inspection, are incomprehensible to me, as these services are normally included in a regular inspection. When I inquired, I received no clear explanation and found the service to be poorly customer-oriented. I had the impression that I was being processed rather than advised. I cannot recommend a service that leaves you with unanswered questions and unexpected additional charges.

Some time ago, after pushing my bike for 3 km with a broken chain, I asked for a repair at Hausschild. The first question was: "Did you buy the bike here?" "No?" "Well, then it will take 14 days before we can get to it." I then asked if they could sell me a chain lock and provide some tools. After the friendly lady was out of sight, the friendly mechanic repaired the chain for me in less than 5 minutes. Thank you for that. If every (ZEG) bike shop in Germany reacts like this ("Did you buy the bike from us?"), you'll only be able to travel within a 5 km radius of where you bought it. I certainly won't be buying my next e-bike in Neu Wulmstorf on the main street.

It's a shame that you get so slapped down at the workshop "service." I was sent away despite having an appointment because I only wanted new brake pads for the front and not the rear. Besides, they only repair wheels purchased there. That makes you immediately lose interest in buying anything there. By the way, I had waited four months for my ruined workshop appointment.

The only thing you can still do in this store is lease an e-bike. There seems to be no interest in anything else. - Workshop appointments are only available for leasing customers, and even then, not for everyone. - Customer inquiries are no longer being answered at all. - Normal shopping is practically impossible due to the long wait times at the checkout.

I leased my company bike there, and I was more than satisfied with the customer service. I had some concerns because of my knees, and I was unsure whether to get an e-bike or a standard bike. I test-rode three standard bikes and an e-bike that was specially ordered for me from the warehouse, but unfortunately, I couldn't make up my mind. The manager lent me a personal bike for three days (provided by her husband) so I could put some miles on it. After that, my decision was made: it would be a standard bike. During that time, I received advice from four employees, one of whom I prioritized to make things run more smoothly. I test-rode the bike several times, made a few adjustments, and addressed every little issue I had, taking excellent care of everything. I also got practically all the accessories included: lights, bell, etc. One thing you have to understand about this shop, though: the staff are swamped with work. Whether it's the salespeople or the mechanics, everyone is incredibly busy, and you should always allow extra time. For example, I booked my first service appointment five months in advance, even before I wheeled my new bike out of the shop, and when I go to that appointment, I book the next one right away—just like I do at the dentist. I can only speculate, but I imagine it's the same with repairs. I'll acquire some basic knowledge so I can fix minor things myself.
