I got my second bike from Citybike last year through my company bike leasing program. Now, the first service/maintenance was due as part of the lease. To this day, I'm completely satisfied with all the services and the staff in sales and the workshop. Friendliness, quality, punctuality, speed, and service – everything is top-notch. This company comes highly recommended and is the first choice for me and my friends when it comes to bikes.

Fantastic! I had a major repair done, during which many worn parts were replaced. I sourced some of the parts myself, and they were used without any fuss. Afterwards, there were a few minor adjustments to the settings, which were implemented perfectly. I've been going there for years and am always extremely satisfied. I am truly disappointed with my experience at City Bike. The prices for the bicycle repair were already extremely high, and it was all the more frustrating when further damage occurred immediately afterward. When I asked for assistance, I received no guarantee or goodwill gesture whatsoever. I was simply told to bring the bicycle back again. For me, this was a significant breach of trust. In this situation, I felt completely abandoned and unfairly treated. After this experience, I will no longer have my bicycle repaired there and cannot recommend this provider from a personal perspective.

I visited Citybike today because I'm considering buying a new e-bike. I received a very friendly welcome, and after explaining my ideas for a new bike, I was given excellent professional advice. Even though I said from the beginning that I wasn't yet sure whether I wanted to buy a new e-bike or convert my old one, I was even offered a test ride, which I only took in the shop. The salesperson then offered me a second bike. If I decide to buy a new e-bike, I'll definitely go to Citybike.

Fantastic workshop! Even though they don't carry my e-bike brand, they still allowed me to bring it in (this wasn't possible at any other workshop in Darmstadt!) and they even fixed the problem, so after six months I can finally ride with assistance again – a dream come true! Thank you so much!!!

I had my new triathlon bike built here and also had a professional bike fitting done – and I'm absolutely thrilled! The entire process was perfectly organized from start to finish. The fitting was extremely precise – every adjustment was explained, measured, and tailored to my individual needs. You can immediately tell that true experts are at work here, who are not only technically skilled but also passionate about what they do. I'd gladly come back anytime!

I wish I could join the positive reviews, but unfortunately, I can't. Before my vacation, I had my bike serviced and new cables installed. I also mentioned that the spokes might need tightening because I have a slight wobble. After picking it up, I didn't have time to check it properly, and now I'm stuck here on vacation with a disastrously adjusted derailleur, still wobbling, and while adjusting the gears, I discovered a bearing failure in the rear wheel. So, I paid €200 for the cable replacement and, unfortunately, I have to assume that no one even bothered to look at the bike properly. 😡 I'm only giving the second star because the staff was friendly; the service was absolutely a disaster.

My favourite bike-shop in Darmstadt. Especially the workshop is pretty good and the employees are competent and friendly (immediately exchanged my old handles with the new ones I wanted to buy). They focus on middle to upper class bikes, and do not like to perform repairs on cheap bikes. Due to their good service they are quite heavily frequented, if you need a general check-up of your bike you should make an appointment first.
