I had my Babboe serviced and upgraded at Velocity. I was very satisfied. All the work was completed quickly and easily. I highly recommend this bike shop, and it certainly won't be the last time I visit. 👍

I brought my bike in for repairs. I got an appointment quickly and the repairs were carried out quickly and professionally. The workers were also very friendly and helpful :)

Hello, I cannot recommend Velocity Darmstadt under any circumstances. We took our Babboe cargo bike to Velocity for a software update and safety check, which Babboe takes care of. We then agreed to an inspection for €60. Upon pickup, the price for the inspection increased to €70 because the saddlebags would have made it much more difficult to remove the luggage rack, which is necessary for the software update. It would have been great if the luggage rack had been screwed back on tight. Two of the three screws were loose, and the third was only screwed in a few turns. See photos. This could have been very dangerous if the luggage rack had come loose while riding. I already described this situation in an email, but it didn't elicit any response. This shows how concerned they are with customer satisfaction. It is a disgrace and extremely negligent to hand out a bike to a customer in this dangerous condition. Never again to Velocity Darmstadt. I do not recommend it under any circumstances!

I ride a Segway-Ninebot G30D KickScooter. Due to a flat tire, the front one needs to be replaced. 10x2 tire on an aluminum rim. About two weeks ago, I called Velocity to inquire about a repair. I told them the model, tire size, etc. "We don't actually repair kick scooters," was the response, but if it's just the front tire... Just come by, we're sure we'll find a solution. Yesterday, June 17, 2023, I packed the scooter into the car and drove to Velocity in Darmstadt. I arrived and briefly explained the situation, also referring to the phone call. I was quickly fobbed off: we don't do that, we have no experience with it, it's actually quite simple, they could do it themselves, blah blah... And this is supposed to be a bicycle repair shop that offers training? But not able to change a tire on a scooter? I ended up riding 30km for nothing yesterday. Velocity is a bicycle dealer like many others have been over the past three years. They prefer to sell pedelecs starting at €4,000.00, thanks to JobRad and the like, at list price, and service them at the same inspection cost as a car. Minor repairs are no longer of interest. I'll find another dealer...

I highly recommend this cycle repair shop for any repairs. Friendly behaviour and would give free of service for small work

Perfect bike shop, fast service and appropriate prices! I had my bike in for a repair and they told me its gonna take a day, but it was already ready for pick up after only 2 hours. Awesome and thanks!

Well, it's more like a small bike shop with a limited selection of brands, bikes, and accessories, where you can quickly grab a spare inner tube. That's about it. Unfortunately, the vending machine was empty on Sunday. Bummer. So I had to get my tube at the main train station and even saved two euros there.

Bought this baby there. The gentleman spoke very nice English to me when he realised I was not a native. He was friendly and helpful. Not so many options on bikes maybe, but you may find it. Definitely I will come back.
