I had a great experience at Alpin Basis Frankfurt. The store is impressively large and completely dedicated to winter sports — you can really tell this is their specialty. They carry beautiful, high-quality brands and have a wide selection of gear, clothing, and accessories. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, you’ll find everything you need in one place. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable without being pushy, which I really appreciated. They took the time to answer questions and give honest advice. The only small downside is parking, which can be a bit challenging depending on the time of day. But once you’re inside, it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone preparing for the ski season! 🎿

Had a really good time buying my first pair of boots and getting them fitted here. Daniel helped me pick my perfect boots, and later offered to adjust my ski bindings to them. Really great guy. Would recommend!

Last December we visited Frankfurt for a couple of days after our first ski trip in the Alps during which I was experiencing constant paint in the rented ski boots. We entered the shop and I noticed that there was a boot fitting service and we booked ourselves immediately the same day. I spent more than an hour in the shop trying different boots and then they formed the boot and sole specially for me. To be honest, I didn’t expect it would work, but I am leaving this review after my second ski trip, and I want to thank everyone who helped me there - I now can ski the whole day without any discomfort. Thank you!’

Thank you Max. Even though I came without an appointment they still helped me with choosing my boot. They definitely know what they are doing. You won’t leave here disappointed. If you want a custom fit ski boot, this is the place.

The products are high quality, but in a range of 10-15% more expensive than same level in ski locations. Service is very good the guys are competent and patient. BUT the chef (or one of the chefs) is an impolite rude bloke (that I do not further define here to avoid being sued) that has no patience and expects people comes knowing already the answers to their own questions. Funny thing: He approached me gently to offer his service and once I asked what i needed, he replied (rudely) that he had no time and was ready to refund entirely the boots. I just asked an advice about the flex of the boots I purchased the day before. I remained speechless. The younger sellers realized his attitude and came immediately over to offer their support to answer my questions. In 10 minutes they resolved my problem. Message to that chef (too bad I do not know his name): you are lucky you have that staff of competent people working for you, and you should learn from them how to deal with clients/people.
