My experience here was a complete disaster. On June 16th, I dropped off my old racing bike for a tire change and asked them to also check everything else to make sure it was okay. I was told that each tire would cost around €30. Nothing happened for a while until I went back four weeks later to ask why it was taking so long. I was told the parts had just arrived and the workshop had replaced them; they were just finishing up a few minor things. Those minor things took five days – tape on the handlebars! Aside from a phone call asking which color tape I wanted (I hadn't even asked them to change it), it had already been done, and I had no choice. Then, finally, the day came when my bike was ready for pickup after exactly five weeks!?!? That's when I got a shock: the bill was an unbelievable €240 because they had also replaced parts on the brakes without my consent, even for minor things. So, €240 for two tires for an old racing bike and a few other minor things. Furthermore, I had to pay part in cash for the owner's work and part by card for the workshop, because, as it turns out, they don't actually do any repairs themselves but outsource them. The tape and the €35 were from their old stock. So they squeezed every last penny out of me. Never again, and I recommend everyone steer clear of this place. Like I said, nothing is done on-site except to get rid of old stock! I could take my bike to a workshop that actually does repairs myself and still be perfectly fine. If you want to wait five weeks for your bike and pay an exorbitant amount without even getting an estimate, this is the place for you.

Dear Mr. Sako,

We are sorry to hear that your experience with us was unsatisfactory. Your feedback is important to us, and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We understand that the long wait and unexpected costs were frustrating. Our goal is to provide our customers with transparent and efficient service. Unfortunately, it seems that there were misunderstandings and delays in your case, which we sincerely regret.

We take your comments seriously and will discuss them internally to ensure that such problems are avoided in the future.

Your statement that we send the bicycles to another workshop for repair is not entirely accurate. We now operate three stores and a cargo bike service center with an attached central workshop. The central workshop is operated by us, and our employees repair our customers' bicycles there.

Sincerely,
the 2rad-circle team

This is a true "old school" expert, not just a parts swapper. If you're looking for a Campagnolo specialist and perhaps even an expert on older racing bikes, you've come to the right place. I find the prices for the work quite reasonable. Anyone expecting a beat-up, cheap bike from a hardware store to be repaired for €20 should ask themselves if they'd be willing to work for €5 an hour.

My experience with this bike shop was disappointing. I dropped off a bike for repair and specifically said that if it was too complicated, I wouldn't want it done. However, they simply repaired it, and in the end, the bill came to almost €200 – for such a minor issue. What I considered good service was asking beforehand or at least pointing out that the repair would be more complicated and therefore more expensive than expected. It's a shame; I like to support local businesses, but I won't be coming back here.
Owner's response
Dear Mr. E S,

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience with our service did not meet your expectations. We regret that the repair costs were higher than anticipated and that communication was lacking.

We take your feedback very seriously and will discuss internally how we can improve our transparency and communication to avoid such misunderstandings in the future.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We hope that we can offer you a better experience in the future.

Sincerely,
the 2rad-circle Team
