I wanted to change the disc brake pads of my mountain bike. The person receiving me was not very friendly, said I could not do it myself because I needed special tools (I checked later, it was not true), and pushed me to change the discs on top of the pads. I then went to my usual bike shop who happily changed the pads without pushing me to spend more on unnecessary parts.
