In November 2026, I ordered a Cube Nurad. The order confirmation indicated delivery in week 6. Mr. Smit contacted me after I placed the order and explained the ordering process. I was kept informed of the order status throughout the process. The in-person interaction was very pleasant and professional. A very positive experience for me. Top staff, top service! I've been a customer of Smit for quite some time now and am very satisfied with the advice and the workshop! You have to book inspections a bit in advance, but everything else is top-notch!

The problems of the cycling industry condensed into one store. I've been to Radsport Smit several times now and have been able to form a solid opinion. First, the good points: Great selection in the store (bikes, accessories, workshop supplies, etc.) and also some high-performance bikes on site that you don't often see in shops. Another plus: The workshop staff take the time to explain technical aspects, etc. Unfortunately, there's not much else good to report. Especially regarding customer service and the overall feeling of being treated as a customer, Radsport Smit is a prime example of what's currently going wrong in parts of the cycling industry and more than lives up to the "service desert" that is Germany. Want some examples? I ordered a spare part for my bike, which, according to the initial estimate, should arrive within four weeks. After six weeks, I called to inquire and was snapped at, told I should try contacting them another way. After another two weeks, I sent an email and received the reply that the part "should be arriving soon." Two months later – I'd repaired my bike elsewhere in the meantime – I spontaneously went to the shop and picked up the spare part – wow. And now for the kicker: Besides the spare part, I was also interested in a test ride on a road bike. I was promised one, with the information that I'd be notified as soon as the bike was assembled. Guess what? I never received any information, and even after inquiring, I was given the runaround. When I was there recently to pick up the aforementioned spare part and something else, the bike I'd been longing for was on display. When a Radsport Smit employee approached me and I expressed my interest in the bike, he looked at me like I was a "second-class citizen," ignored my question, and referred me to the workshop for the spare part – wow! I'd like to sincerely apologize for not being the target customer for riding such a bike. Of course, I also regret ordering things online instead of contacting the manufacturer directly. Luckily, I always try to learn from my mistakes and will take more initiative in sourcing bikes and parts in the future. At least the selection in the shop is good, so I might stop by again sometime; perhaps something will change.

I highly recommend them… I found my dream bike and spent ages comparing prices… then suddenly my bike appeared at Radsport Smit – €600 cheaper than all the other dealers. Even though I still had to provide documents for a bike lease, the dealer reserved the bike and then processed everything very quickly. • Best price nationwide • Super friendly • Very fast, personalized service Absolutely recommended 👍🏼

I have rarely had such a positive experience with advice, delivery, and handling of complaints. Mark is a very well-trained employee who truly understands what customer loyalty means for sales. Hi, Thanks so much for the technician's accurate analysis of my "bent" rim today. He said he wouldn't brake anymore if he were me. I thought, well, I can still make it to Frankfurt. See the picture "time of the analysis" and 20 km later. I stayed safe and sound 😇, but the burst inner tube did cause a bit of a stir in Schwanheim 😅

These guys are really good. I’ve had a couple of flats that they fixed on the spot and kept me riding. Prices are decent and they have a good selection of essential bike clothes and accessories, not to mention the extensive collection of bikes. Fast repairs at fair prices makes this shop a go to for this rider.

Dear Radsport Smit team, I would like to thank you for the excellent telephone advice, the service during the ordering process, and the smooth delivery of the mountain bike. The partly very negative reviews do not correspond to my experience. The telephone advice was professionally convincing, and it was even possible to reserve the mountain bike temporarily. When I asked about the negative Google reviews, a very pleasant conversation with the employee followed about the background of the reviews. During the ordering process, my email inquiries were repeatedly answered quickly. Delivery via the shipping company was straightforward (arranging an appointment, etc.). The mountain bike was well packaged and pre-assembled as far as possible.

Very good experience there. The workshop was booked but they took the time to check the issue I had with my back tyre. The staff was highly competent and even if the initial problem could not be fixed, they offered me a solution. Very happy of the service offered.
