I was in a real bind: I lost one of the screws in my shoe cleats and couldn't unclip from the pedal. The boys removed the pedal, detached the shoe (not easy), gave me a new screw, and let me use their tool to reattach the cleat. I'm very appreciative of their help in an emergency. I'd happily visit again.

🚴‍♂️ Cycle Planet is a cool little shop. Yeah, it’s small and kind of all over the place inside, but that adds to the vibe. 🛠️ Jakob was working when I stopped in, and he’s just super chill—made the whole experience way better. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for good service and someone easy to talk to about bikes.

During my bikepacking trip 🚵🏼‍♀️ from the Allgäu region to the North Sea, I unfortunately had an accident and had to take my bike to Cycle Planet for first aid. (The handlebars and derailleur hanger were bent.) I was able to bend the handlebars back myself (it's an aluminum bike), but I was incredibly happy and grateful that the guys took another look with their expertise, assessed the damage, and also straightened the derailleur hanger. The bike is running perfectly again, and I'm so thankful that the guys took pity on me and helped me so quickly and easily, despite being busy and having lots of customers, so I could continue my trip as soon as possible. Thank you so much – I can highly recommend you guys; you're simply friendly, easy to deal with, and do a fantastic job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great bike shop that's always there for its customers. Unlike most others, they do everything possible to fix any bike defects as quickly as possible. I ride 35km for the service and am very satisfied. I can only recommend Torsten and his team. Here, the bike is still lived and breathed, and there's no whining if you want to modify something. Keep it up.

My review is very similar to the one from Jack Gregor below. Definitely did not feel welcome at the store, even though I had interest in buying a bike (not anymore). My presence was vastly ignored until I approached the counter. Additionally I wanted a piece of equipment to be checked, honestly 5 minutes of close visual inspection would have sufficed but the man at the counter only stated "yeah, that is dead" by looking at the piece from the other side of the counter.

If you're looking for service and advice, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. I went in to get my rear break inspected. However, as soon as I entered the store, my presence seemed more of an annoyance than an opportunity to gain a loyal customer. The inspection consisted of reaching over the counter, compressing the break lever, and insisting that it "felt fine." They then proceeded to encourage me to leave by recommending a store down the road that didn't specialize in mountain bikes. Complete waste of time. If I could give these guys a zero, I would.
