Same problem, bad battery, one year and the battery is broken

Battery broken, poor service The battery broke down 1.5 years after purchase (a quick internet search reveals this is a common occurrence). Model: ESKUTE E-Bike Netuno E-Mountainbike Eskute simply stated, "Then you'll have to buy a new one; the warranty is only one year." A new battery costs approximately €300 and has a 2-month delivery time. The bike is not roadworthy without a battery (lights, speedometer, etc.). Warranty is not the same as guarantee (guarantee is at least 2 years in Germany – legally required), and this was explained to the staff there. However, only after contacting Amazon (the seller) and threatening legal action was a new battery supposedly sent (I'm curious to see if it arrives). Support is an absolute disaster. Their German was clearly translated, and their responses were barely understandable. They also had zero knowledge of the products. So, if you don't have any problems, you can buy their products. But as soon as you have a complaint, questions, or anything similar, I would advise against it.

Disastrous experience with the service. The bike is okay, with a few loose screws here and there. After one year, the battery broke, and Eskute now wants us to buy a new one. In Germany, you have a two-year warranty. Unfortunately, I now have to consult a lawyer.

Very small shop nice staff helpful and reliable very helpful if you can speak English
